Description

Cargo consists of a round area in the middle surrounded by shipping containers, there is also an office building on the side. The sides from which you can look into the centre form a triangle and you can get to the office building from everywhere. This makes Cargo quite balanced.

Middle area

As already mentioned, the centre is a circle. Not only does this form dynamic movement patterns as you move into the centre, but the permanently dumped shipping containers also give a kind of cover as they provide many areas on the map with view blocking. This applies to the office and the two raised containers, which are often occupied at the beginning of a match.

Container

Containers form the areas on the edges of the map surrounding the centre point. On both sides there are containers that can be climbed on. Since the two sides are opposite each other, there are often intense firefights here. Moreover, since the two areas are relatively far apart, it is possible to use a for such fights, for example a sniper rifle or a light machine gun.

Although you are relatively safe on the containers, there are paths to flank on both sides. To hold these positions, it is best to use claymores, S-mines and shock charges.

Office building

The office building gives you a good overview of the two containers just mentioned and the circle in the middle. It also gives you a view of the north-eastern part of the map. Like the two containers, you can do ranged combat from there, but stupidly it is also possible to be sneakily flanked.

Info

  • Most of the containers on the map say “III-ARC”, a reference to Treyarch, the game’s developers.
  • The outside of the ring that ships the containers in the middle is covered with solar cells.
  • Most of the containers contain beer.
  • In the office building, notes hang on the noticeboards on the walls, indicating that zombies will soon invade.
