Heroes Dota 2 – Lone Druid

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an boss opponent. The Dueling Fates announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Lone Druid: “It has been too long since these bones felt combat.”

At the side of a powerful spirit bear, Lone Druid destroys enemy forces and buildings alike. Depending on the situation, he switches between his melee and ranged form. If he finds enough time to equip both himself and his companion well, there is little that can stop this duo.

Juggernaut defeats his opponents with a whirlwind of sword strikes. He sprints into battle unconcerned, as he is nearly invincible once his attack has begun. Stopping Juggernaut is usually as difficult as surviving him.

Lone Druid- Biography

“Even before the first words of the first history books were put on paper, the Druidic clan of Bears was founded. Wise and just were its followers, who pledged themselves to the understanding of the laws of nature. When the ancient powers of nature saw this, they chose the most learned among them, the old wise Sylla, head and prophet of the clan. When he came before his fathers, the seed was given to him and the words rang out: ‘When all the light of the world is extinguished, when the last civilization of these lands has left, when the world is destroyed and corrupted by the endless deserts, when the end of time has come, plant this seed.’ As he came back to himself, Sylla felt his fatigue fade and his vitality return. Unimaginable knowledge filled him. He was able to project his will into reality and, with some concentration, change his outer form as well. But soon whispering words of clairaudient spirits carried the knowledge of the seed and its power out into the world. A cruel war broke out, sealing the downfall of the Bear clan. Seeing his homeland in flames, Sylla fled into the wilderness with his treasure. Centuries passed and the myth of the Bear Clan, Sylla and the Sámi was forgotten. Magnificent civilizations followed the fate of the clan, arose and perished again. For thousands of years, Sylla has waited in inexhaustible faith in the word of his gods for peace to finally return to the world of eternal wars. Dwelling in hiding, he looks forward to the end of time and the fulfillment of his final, sacred duty, ready to face anything and anyone who tries to prevent him from doing so.”
