If the number of players drops due to an injury or a fourth red card, the match must be abandoned. Complete abandonments or suspensions are equally caused by unmediated weather changes. In the past, several games have been interrupted due to lightning strikes. The safety of the teams and the stadium participants could no longer be guaranteed. We are all familiar with fans whose rude and violent actions cause games to be interrupted or abandoned. One example is the European Championship qualifying match between Russia and Montenegro. After 20 seconds, the game was interrupted for 35 minutes because a flare was thrown at the head of the Russian keeper. There were further disagreements between the teams and the Russian team left the field in the 67th minute. At the green table the match was scored 3:0 for Russia. In case of match abandonment of a Titan Bet bet on the final result, the following is stated in the T&C. Quote: “If a match is abandoned before the scheduled 90 minutes, only bets that could be settled at the time the match was abandoned will stand.” If you have placed a bet on a 3-way and there is no final result, your placed Titan Bet bet is void. What happens when a tennis match is abandoned?
Tennis matches are often abandoned due to player disqualifications and injuries. Additionally, sudden weather changes contribute to interruptions or even complete abandonments. Another example is the match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon 2010, the longest match in tennis history, played over 3 days. Since the light conditions were not sufficient in the evening, it was postponed to the next day in each case. The match lasted 11 hours and 5 minutes and was won in the fifth set with a score of 70:68 by John Isner. Titan Bet made the following statement in the betting rules for such cases. Quote: “If a match is not completed, all match and set bets are void.” If it is a change of schedule – as in the above example – all bets placed before the announcement will stand. Can I cancel or change a placed bet?
It can happen quickly that mistakes are made that cannot be corrected. This can also happen when placing a bet, of course. The Titan Bet T&Cs state the following in this regard. Quote: “Our customers are required to ensure that the bets placed are correct before confirming the bets. If there is a disagreement about the details of a bet or a wagered amount, our records will apply.” For you, it means that once Titan Bet accepts your bet, it is not possible to change or cancel it. Please make sure your entries are correct and double check them before sending your order. If you make a mistake while entering the data, you should contact the customer service. What happens to my combined bet if a game is cancelled?
If an event is cancelled for any reason, it will have an indirect impact on the combined or system bet you have placed. Quote: “All betting markets on soccer are valid for 90 minutes of play (including any stoppage time).” The time needed for extra time, penalty shootout or golden goal does not count as regular playing time. At Titan Bet you can bet on these special events. If your betting result does not come true, your bet is void. Exceptions to this are American sports, where a winner often has to be determined even in league games. Here the overtime is often included. An exception to this is the sport of ice hockey.
