Is Ansu Fati’s card worth it?
POTM Ansu Fati catapults straight into the top 5 on the left attacking side with his first special card of the still young FIFA 21 – Season . Especially the 95 speed and 87 dribbling are outstanding, but also the shooting and passing values can convince.
Especially with the Chem style (Deadeye for the wing, Marksman as a striker), the arrow-quick Spaniard is an absolute all-purpose weapon in the offense – especially in Spain’s first division, where fast strikers are rare. However, these values also come at a price: around 162,000 coins are truly no bargain at first glance.
La Liga POTM Ansu Fati SBC – The cheapest solution
If you play in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team with a team from the Spanish La Liga and you have the necessary coins on your account, you should still think about a deal – the card is absolutely worth it. But for that you have to give away three teams:
- Team with a player from La Liga (83 OVR, at least 70 chemistry).
- Team with a player from Spain (85 OVR, at least 60 chemistry)
- Team with a player from FC Barcelona (86 OVR, at least 50 chemistry)
Team 1: La Liga
For the first team, the price is still relatively moderate at around 20,000 coins. Here we focus almost exclusively on players who kick in Spain, but with two exceptions: Goalkeeper Pau Lopez from AS Roma (or Roma FC, respectively) and Dusan Tadic from Ajax Amsterdam – who, however, can also be swapped with any other center forward with 83 OVR or more.
Team 2: Spain
Spain, the second. Here, an even higher rating is needed, which makes the price skyrocket. On the other hand, less chemistry is needed, which paves the way for hybrid teams: defense from Italy, midfield from Spain, and Yann Sommer (or another cheap player with at least 86 OVR) up front. This SBC alone costs just under 60,000 coins.
Team 3: Tactical Emulation
At around 87,000 coins, this is the most expensive of the three Squad Building Challenges. No wonder, since an OVR of 86 is required here. On the other hand, the team chemistry is relatively unimportant, so we can fall back relatively freely on highly rated cards that we have in our club. This is also where our SBC favorite from FIFA 20 comes into play for the first time: goalkeeper Andre Onana from Ajax Amsterdam.
FIFA Squad Building Challenges (short SBC)
The FIFA Squad Building Challenges (SBC for short) are about putting together a team according to certain specifications. They are an important part of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and bring coins, valuable packs or special cards when fulfilled.
For the most part, you’ll have to line up eleven players that you have in your club and then send this squad off. These players will then disappear from your club. In return, you’ll receive a reward, such as a pack or a special card. As with FIFA 19, FIFA 20 and FIFA 21 we will report about the latest SBCs for FIFA 22 here and help you to judge if it is worth to complete a challenge.
START WITH THE SQUAD BUILDING CHALLENGES
In Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), you can use your player items to build unique teams based on various challenge conditions. You can then submit these to receive bonuses.
Here’s how:
- From the FIFA 22 main menu, select the FIFA Ultimate Team section.
- In the home page section, select Squad Building Challenges and call them up.
- Select the challenge you want to complete. They are grouped by category.
Create a team.
- Using items from your club or from the transfer market, build a team that meets the challenge conditions. Usually this is a mix of player quality, team chemistry, team value, nationalities, leagues and clubs.
Master the Challenge to submit your team and receive bonuses.
- All SBC submissions cannot be undone. Once you complete an SBC, the submitted items will be permanently removed from your club in exchange for bonuses. Our consultants cannot restore submitted items.
- For some SBCs, you will only have a limited amount of time to complete them. Once a challenge has expired, you will no longer be able to submit a team.
More details about SBCs
- Some SBCs consist of multiple challenges with individual bonuses and a larger overall completion bonus. Other challenges are single challenges.
- Some SBCs are repeatable. You have a chance to get different bonuses for each team submission, but you might also get the same bonus.
- SBCs are available in all FIFA 22 versions, but they can vary depending on the platform. Bonuses can also vary from platform to platform.
