Charlie sits in a flying school bus and waits until he can jump off. Then the time comes, he rides the tr and jumps off. He flies his hang glider. There are also other gliders, skins, and picks for V-Bucks (game currency in Fornite, ed.) that you can buy for money.

Then he lands in Neo Tilted, a town in Fortnite. He sees a house and goes inside. Inside the house, he takes down a haystack. Under the haystack is a box, which he opens. He finds good loot in the box, a weapon, a shield potion to get more life, and wood for building. There is also metal and stone for building.

Outside, people are already fighting. Then Charlie goes out, suddenly he is shot from behind. Since he has only little life left, he builds himself up and drinks a shield potion. But that doesn’t help much, because he gets sniped from above. Because he has died, he comes to the lobby. He does some research and finds out that there are 1000 V-Bucks for ten euros. There are also other packages, for example: 100 V-Bucks for 1 Euro or 10000 V-Bucks for 100 Euro. He buys the package and uses it to get a dance, during which he experiences other things in his dreams. Now Charlie plays another round, but this time he lands in Polar Peak, an ice area in Fortnite. After landing, he loots a house and goes in search of enemies. Now he realized that there is a camper sitting in a bush, because there are moshes that you can put on. Charlie shoots the opponent, but he is not dead yet. Therefore, Charlie throws a grenade into the bush, and the opponent dies.

But the rest of the survivors led the castles and come to Polar Peak. Now things are getting tight, there are only four people left alive with him. Charlie is setting up and doesn’t know what to do. There are now three people alive with him, because the one enemy from the zone has died. The zone is a blue wall that makes the map smaller, and when you go into the zone, you have to run out again because it drains lives. Finally, only one opponent is still alive. Charlie tries to shoot him down, but the sun blinds him. Nevertheless, Charlie hits the opponent and is the last one to survive out of 100 fighters. In the end, Charlie won. We like Fortnite because you need strategies and because you can play with up to three friends.

The age rating

So the hiss reporters Max and Moritz, ten and nine years old, are actually still too young to play Fortnite. Their parents don’t allow them to either. But the two boys come into contact with the game in other ways, and since it exerts a great fascination on them and keeps them very busy – like many boys their age – their parents have allowed them to write the adjacent article. According to their parents, Max and Moritz have, or rather get, access to Fortnite from slightly older friends or via YouTube, where there are lots of explanatory videos about Fortnite. For example, they like a channel called “Ninja”. This is run by a so-called battle player, who is followed by more than 22 million subscribers. “As a parent, you unfortunately don’t have 100 percent control over where and how your kids come into contact with the game,” writes Moritz’s mother, Katja Riehle, in an e-mail to the Zisch editorial team.
