But calm down, the WoW makers tweet that they have not forgotten the Classic players.
This is perhaps a somewhat strange way of communication between developers and players: the fans of WoW Classic have been waiting for weeks for the promised 50 percent XP buff for Burning Crusade Classic.so that they can finally go full throttle in leveling their Twinks to prepare them for Northrend. But apart from the announcement of this buff, there has been silence from the Classic developers at Blizzard ever since.
So it comes a little (a lot) stranger that just this week (on July 20, 2022 in Europe) with the server reset of WoW: Shadowlands a … 50 percent XP buff will be turned on for the live servers. That’s what players are reporting from the US servers, and that’s what the developers at Blizzard are tweeting themselves. In preparation for – Season 4 of Shadowlands, which starts on August 3, 2022 in our latitudes, you will benefit from the Wind of Wisdom from July 20, 2022, and until the start of – Season 4.

It’s just stupid that this buff has been promised to Classic players for some time now, and they are now explicitly excluded. The blog post about the buff states: “The experience bonus is not available in Classic versions of World of Warcraft. (buy now )® available”. Ouch. Accordingly, the Classic fans are loudly expressing their displeasure under the article.
Classic fans have not been forgotten, World of Warcraft developers emphasize. However, players with a penchant for retro WoW fear that Wrath of the Lich King Classic might somehow be released in a hurry, without a pleasant preparation period – or a time to get the vacation in place for the Northrend adventure.
