On July 29, 2022, it was time for another round of hotfixes on the servers of WoW: Shadowlands and Burning Crusade Classic. The amount of changes was not particularly extensive, but there was a small, fine innovation that should please especially frequent Twinkers: Sand-ground relics are now bound to your account, which means that you can finally buy equipment for Twinks with them.

Fans had wanted this change for a long time: Previously, the amount of Sand Polished Relics required to buy an item was so large that many players had already collected better equipment from raids or via mythical dungeons before the Relics became relevant. Accordingly, in the opinion of many fans, the currency was rather useless until now and only consumed unnecessary space in the inventory. However, this should change with the current hotfixes.

Below you can read the official English patch notes. As soon as Blizzard has published the German patch notes, we will update this message. Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, whereas others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.

  • Mistcalle
    • Dodge Ball no longer pierces immunities.
  • Tazavesh: Soleah’s Gambit
    • Fixed issue where Murkbrine Fishmancer’s Volatile Pufferfish was not dealing damage.

Items and Rewards

• Sandworn Relics are now bound on account.

Burning Crusade Classic

• Fixed an issue where the Shattered Hand Scout could prevent completion of Shattered Halls.
