WoW Guide: Herbalism – All tips for the profession

The WoW profession of herbalism is a lucrative one. With inscription and alchemy, two processing professions use the WoW plants obtained through herbalism. Accordingly, herbalists also do good business in the auction house.

Herbalism may not be one of the most exciting WoW professions, but the collecting profession definitely pays off. Herbalists are not only in demand among WoW players because their collecting profession enables them to brew potions, elixirs and flasks in the place. Inscriptionists also need the tender WoW plants in bulk to produce scrolls, cards for the Darkmoon Faire and, above all, glyphs. In this profession guide we give you an overview of the WoW profession Herbalism.

Herbalism: That’s why the profession is worthwhile
If you don’t need the herbs you’ve collected for a suitable second profession, you can simply turn peace flowers and conspecifics into gold in the auction house. Like the other gathering professions, herbalism is particularly suitable for twinks who want to save themselves the hassle of expanding a manufacturing profession. Aside from the pure gathering of the required raw materials, herbalism also offers a tangible advantage. If you diligently pick flowers, you can use this ability to heal yourself and increase your speed rating. The more Herbalism you have, the stronger the effect of the spell.

Worthwhile second job: inscription or alchemy
If you like to process the picked plants yourself, it is best to try one of the jobs mentioned. Both inscription and alchemy are among the most profitable WoW professions – so you’ll do well with both variants, even if you don’t necessarily need the manufactured goods yourself. However, as mentioned earlier, Herbalism also works great in combination with another gathering profession if your main goal is gold.

Herbalism: As efficient as possible at level 525
There aren’t many for effective skilling. Just collect diligently and don’t forget to go to the trainer regularly to unlock higher skill levels. If you don’t do this, you will not receive any skill points for picked plants and thus give away potential. Below we have listed the most common of each plant for you, as well as the locations of the Herbalism Profession Instructors.
