WoW Guide: Blackrock Spire – below

The lower Schwarzfelsspitze is suitable for players with World of Warcraft: Cataclysm from level 58. A total of nine different boss encounters await you there, spread over several levels of the instance. In our guide, we will guide you through the instance, explain the boss fights and you what loot the opponents can carry with them.

Preparation
In the lower area of ​​Blackrock Spire you will mainly encounter humanoids, wild animals and dragonkins. The opponents mainly attack you with high melee damage. It’s a good idea to have at least one player in your party who has an enemy control ability like Polymorph, Fear, or Ice Trap. Plan a little more time for this instance, because in addition to nine bosses there are also a lot of trash opponents.

Highlord Omokk (1)
After entering the instance, go straight down the stairs and take the second passage to the right to enter Hordemar. Follow the path over hanging bridges and through groups of enemies. After the last bridge, grab a shod pike from the wall on the left. Then you enter the ogre area Mok’doom. There you will meet Highlord Omokk, a heavily armored ogre captain. The boss doesn’t have much to oppose you, he just knocks back the tank from time to time and goes into a frenzy when his life energy is reduced by half. Don’t forget to loot Omokk’s head, which you will need later in the instance along with the pike to summon another boss.

Shadow Hunter Vosh’gajin (2)
Exit the ogre area and bear left until you reach the Tazz’Alor area. There you will find the shadow hunter Vosh’gajin, who is between some trolls. Eliminate the trolls before dealing with Vosh’gajin. Again and again she curses her target with a blood curse that increases the damage suffered by the affected person. Remove the curse from the tank when you have the chance. She also turns the group into frogs again and again. Even taking damage does not break you out of the transformation. The healer must therefore ensure that the tank has full life points at all times so that it can survive the transformation phase.

Warmaster Voone (3)
Step out of the sanctuary and take the passage to the right. Follow the stairs down and enter Warmaster Voone’s small room through the passage in the southwestern part of Tazz’alor. The tank stands on its back in a corner of the room and occupies the Warmaster there. The rest of the group stays behind the boss’s back. Voone repeatedly throws his ax at a random player, dealing high damage and stunning them for 2 seconds. He also interrupts cast spells with snap kicks and slams. His uppercut also pushes the tank back a bit – but that shouldn’t bother you in the corner.

Mother Glimmernetz (4)
Continue through the passage in the north of Tazz’alor past some rubble in the direction of Listspinner tunnel, where the huge spider Mother Glimmernetz awaits you. Your tank will turn the eight-legged monster away from the group, as the mother will repeatedly stun all players in a cone in front of her. She also poisons randomly selected players with breast milk. The poisoned are either detoxified, or they move away from the group so they don’t stun nearby group members. After its death, the spider summons three more spiderlings, which you must also eliminate.

Now head west into another ogre-controlled area. At the inner corner of the ledge where the ogres are perched, you will see a small pile of skulls – Urok’s tribute pile. Clear out the ogres and use the shod pike and head of Omokk. Immediately some servants of Urok charge towards you.

Halycon (6)

Gizrul the Slobberer (7)

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

  1. Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
  2. Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
  3. Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
  4. Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
