Infinity Blade

Infinity Blade is a mythical weapon in Fortnite that has been available for the game’s Battle Royale mode since patch V.7.01 . You can find them in the Polar Peak area .

The primary attack deals a mighty sword slash. You deal a lot of damage to opposing players – 75 damage points to be precise – and destroy buildings with just one hit. The alternative attack involves performing a long jump, destroying objects in your way. Upon landing, knocks up nearby enemies, dealing 25 damage. The sword wielder is also granted the following traits:

• Max Health and Shield are each increased by 200.
• 1 health or shield is regenerated every second until the maximum is reached.
• An instant heal for 50 health upon killing an enemy.
• Increased movement speed (130%).

The player who pulls the Infinity Blade from the pedestal first gains full health and shields immediately. Once a player grabs the Infinity Blade, they drop all inventory items apart from building materials. If the wielder of the Infinity Blade picks up an item that is not a building material, they will drop the Infinity Blade. The Infinity Blade is also dropped if the wielder goes down or is eliminated.

Only one Infinity Blade appears in each match.

How does Fortnite work?

“Fortnite: Battle Royale” comes in a variety of game modes. Players can either compete alone, in pairs or in teams of four. The teams are formed either from known players or randomly from strangers. Team members can exchange information and discuss strategies via voice chat.

The gameplay is the same for all modes: At the beginning, all online players are in a virtual waiting room until they are randomly assigned to a game. A round starts with 100 opponents landing on a deserted island. The goal is to beat the other players and to be the last to survive – if you play as a team, you all win together. Opponents are not shown on the overview map after landing on the island. The player must therefore always be on the lookout for attacks. To survive, raw materials and equipment must be collected. Building materials such as wood or stone are obtained with a pickaxe. With the help of these raw materials, protective walls and entire forts can be built to protect against enemy attacks. Players can also overcome cliffs or other obstacles by building stairs and bridges themselves. Weapons and health kits are hidden in crates and piñatas. Good equipment increases the chances of surviving against an opponent. Searching, hiding and building are important parts of the game.
