Weapons Call of Duty-Storm PSR

The Storm PSR (short for Piercing Shot Rifle) is a sniper rifle that counts as a special weapon and appears in : Black Ops II. In the campaign, it has a built-in X-ray sight, which allows you to see enemies through walls.

To further support the abilities of the special scope, you can charge the shots, which is why they come through any material between the shooter and the victim. However, these shots consume more ammo the longer you charge. At most, one shot will consume five cartridges. The gun has a huge magazine of 30 bullets and seems to have no momentum at all and almost unnoticeable recoil.

Another rather useful feature is the extremely precise hip-fire accuracy, which allows you to actually go into close combat with the Storm PSR. The weapon is semi-automatic and always kills with one shot. Red and green lights exist to indicate to the shooter what material they can and cannot shoot through, depending on the loadout. No attachments or camouflage are available.

Once you unlock the Storm PSR, it’s actually one of those that you can basically always take with you. The scope allows you to see any enemy that doesn’t have a chance to take cover, plus you can fire charged shots at enemies that you otherwise wouldn’t have hit or would have hit very hard. Due to the high damage, which you can increase by charging, even armored enemies like CLAWs are no longer a big threat. Even if you don’t aim, you can charge the shot to build up more pressure from the hip as well. But possibly the deadliest feature of the gun is the combination of the 30-bullet magazine, great hip-fire accuracy, semi-auto, and the fact that you always kill with one shot. Basically, you can complete any mission by running through the level, shooting from the hip, and thus instantly mowing down any enemy, because all that is needed for a kill in a single hit to the body.

Info

  • If you hit an enemy in the head with a fully charged shot, a very brief slow-motion scene will play.
  • The scope does not completely fill the screen when aiming, unlike the other sniper rifles.
  • The Storm PSR is only used by Section and Harper (should he still be alive).
  • The Storm PSR has the same foregrip as the Peacemaker.
  • If you duck or lie down while charging, it will stop charging.
  • The weapon is so powerful that you can take out even a CLAW unit with three charged shots. For an A.G.R. you need one charged shot, for a Dragonfire two normal bullets are enough.
  • Charging is indicated with a bar that fills up the farther you go. You can see this on the right side of the screen, both when you are in the scope and when shooting from the hip.
  • The bullet holes and other visual marks like cracks or pits increase in size the longer you charge.
  • In Time and Destiny, you can kill Raul Menendez. To do this, you have to start the mission with the Storm PSR. When Menendez arrives at the barn, you have to aim at him and pull the trigger. He dies, but that doesn’t change the course of the game, because he reappears later in the house.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
