A warlock in World of Warcraft apparently attaches maximum importance to exclusivity and equips his demon just as well as he equips himself.
– Season 4 in World of Warcraft Shadowlands works a bit differently than previous – Season s. Everything happens a bit faster, equipment can be upgraded quickly, and this time you can even buy loot specifically with a new raid currency.
Some players take advantage of this to equip not only themselves but also their companions in a particularly impressive way – such as their Devil’s Guard with the powerful weapon of the Dungeon Master.
What kind of weapon is that? We are talking about the “Hammer of the First Judge”. It’s a mace with a unique “use” effect that extracts the target’s soul from it. After that, a small soul fragment appears that you have to kill to get a powerful buff for 60 seconds.
In most guides, this weapon is currently the best thing a melee fighter can put on – not to mention that the effect is also just cool.
Why is this one so popular right now? Like most other weapons and trinkets, the raid loot can be purchased specifically in – Season 4 of Shadowlands if you have the necessary dinars. You earn these basically “on the side” if you simply always kill the current raid bosses. This way, characters can specifically work towards items if they had drop luck, for example.
This also explains why the Warlock got these weapons in the first place. Because if this weapon were to drop regularly in the raid, several melee fighters would surely fight over it. The dinar system allows characters to buy not only weapons and equipment that make sense for their own characters, but also weapons that they can’t use at all – such as the hammer of the First Judge.
Why does the Devil’s Guard carry this weapon? A glyph can be used to enable the Devil’s Guard to equip a random weapon from the Warlock’s inventory when summoned. This may look stylish, but it has no effect at all apart from the fact that many a warrior or death knight now curls up crying in front of this demon.
The Devil’s Guard glyph lets the guard put on a random two-handed weapon from the warlock’s inventory, so it can also be lucrative for warlocks to keep two-handed weapons in their inventory to customize the demon a bit.
However, at the next Demon Assembly, the Devil’s Guard should be able to show off quite a bit.
What did you buy for those strange dinars, or have you not even earned them yet?
