On Saturday the first qualifier of digitec Playground Vol. 8 starts with “Rocket League”. But first you’ll want to know who won the real life duel between The Punishers and Curly Riders. Here is the resolution.
Instead of playing on the PC or the console, we moved our “Rocket League” duel to the skate hall. And instead of controllers, we resorted to remote control. We used it to send our pimped RC buggies into the race.
Team “The Punishers” consists of Simon Balissat and e-sport pro Lukas “Zaphare” Jakober. Together with Riyan “Nuke” Alfred I form the team “Curly Riders”. The game is played according to slightly modified “Rocket League” rules. The first team to achieve two victories wins. A round lasts five minutes. If there is a tie, the game continues with the golden goal. This means that the next goal is decisive. You can see how it all went down in the video.
