As developer Techland has officially confirmed, Dying Light 2 will be released in Germany only cut and in digital form.
It is assumed that this part in the original version could also be put on the index and thus can no longer be purchased in Germany without further ado.
For a long time it was unclear in what condition Dying Light 2 will be released in Germany. Because part one still can not be bought officially in this country. Now developer Techland has officially spoken out, after some online retailers from Austria have already shared this information in advance.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human
According to this, Dying Light 2 Stay Human will only be released in Germany in cut form. Furthermore, there will be no physical version here and the game can only be purchased digitally. If you want to play Dying Light 2 in German and uncut, you will have to import the title from Austrian stores.
This will be cut
- No human opponents can be decapitated or dismembered
- Neutral NPC can not be killed
- Co-op mode is limited to Germany for now as of release, but will possibly be expanded to other regions afterwards
The changes will not affect the story or the basic gameplay.
“Since Techland’s stated goal is to present the game to German players the way the developers envisioned it, they will keep the special German version as close as possible to the international version,” officials say.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on February 04, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and the PC.

Dying Light 2 – postponement has served its purpose

Really good SSDs for the PS5

A good one is the Western Digital Black SN850. It even has the heatsink and was one of the fastest SSDs in our tests. Crucial’s “P5 Plus 1TB” is largely unknown, but it impresses with its read and write speed. 1 terabyte is not the highest of feelings, but quite sufficient, we would say. Samsung impressed us with the “980 Pro 1TB M.2” on the one hand with the fastest speed, but on the other hand, it swept us off our feet with a sensitively expensive price. If money is no object, you are probably best off with this.
