With the next phase of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, not only will the gates of Zul’Aman open, there will also be new items for Badges of Justice and additional ways to earn Badges of Justice. The latter may also mean that Hero Dungeons are less interesting for Badge Farming rounds than before. This is where another change comes into play.
We had already told you in a big Preview the upcoming phase 4 of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic is presented. The big highlight of the content update is of course the troll raid Zul’Aman. But there is much more to come with Phase 4. The Blizzard designers want to introduce the Leatherworkers’ Great Drums recipes with Zul’Aman. G’eras will have an expanded Badge of Justice offering for you in Shattrath, and you will be able to farm Badges in Karazhan and Zul’Aman in the future.
What about the Hero Dungeons?
Badges of Justice from Karazhan and Zul’Aman? This also inevitably means that the heroic dungeons are less interesting for many characters. Or to put it another way: You will have a harder time finding teammates who can still use something from the heroic dungeons and meet the current reputation requirements (Respectable with the respective faction).
In the official WoW forum it was therefore asked whether Blizzard would not like to lower the reputation requirements for heroic dungeons slowly, in order to lure with the coming phase at least the one or other Twink more into the “Heros”. After all, this change also came with the Zul’Aman Patch 2.3 in the original Burning Crusade.
The answer from Blizzard developer Aggrend: Yup, let’s do it. The reputation requirement for Hero dungeons will be lowered from Respectful to Benevolent with the upcoming phase. Some players like, “Cool! I’m excited.” Other players like, “This is a slap in the face to all the players who have brought reputation to Respectful on umpteen characters. Blizzard has listened to casuals way too many times. Leave it like this!”
