Rundown

Description

Rundown, just like Favela, is set in a run-down village in Brazil. In the background you can see a big mountain, which means that Rio De Janeiro could be nearby. On the map, Task Force 141 is fighting against the militia.

A muddy river separates the east from the west on the map, with three bridges connecting the capital to the broken houses on the outside. Task Force 141 spawns in a field to the east, while the militia appears in a giant building to the west. Many of the buildings have walkable first floors, which aids combat on elevated levels like in Favela.

Info

  • A bombed building stands on the militia side of the map, looking very similar to the gas station from Overgrown. In it you can find a sketch of the former president Al-Fulani.
  • A single gun overlooking the middle bridge is on the map. To reach it, however, you have to climb.
  • In front of one of the bridges there is an indestructible TV.
  • In the cars on this map there are newspapers written in Arabic script.
  • Posters are hanging and lying all over the map with a picture of the Titanic.
  • The dead cows tie in with a tradition from the Call of Duty series that in every part there is a map in multiplayer where there is at least one dead bovine animal.
  • In the pharmacy, there are two bags of cocaine on the second floor, and when you shoot them, white powder sprays out of them.
  • Interestingly, the map is classified as “desert” because when a player uses a sniper rifle, the character wears the desert camouflage suit.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
