Maps Call of Duty - Resistance
Resistance

Resistance (originally Paris) is a multiplayer map from Call of Modern Warfare 3. It is set in the streets of Paris, France. The two fighting factions are the GIGN and the Spetsnaz.

Description

Resistance is a medium sized map. The two teams spawn on opposite sides of the map, on a hill and by the parasols. The streets are small and narrow and the houses provide close combat action, but there is room to maneuver for weapons designed for more distant ranges. Still, you can only enter two houses, a store and a destroyed apartment building. Cover is provided by the many cars scattered around the map, but you should be wary of explosives.

Survival

In Survival mode, Resistance has a difficulty level of Easy. Players start with a Five-Seven, two frag grenades, two stun grenades, one revive, and 250 armor. Enemies consist of bomber troopers, attack dogs, helicopters and juggernauts. Claymore experts also spawn around turn 22.

To survive as long as possible, the house in the middle of the map is recommended – it has two entrances, but in the “kitchen” you have full back-up… best still a car gun in front of you, on the ground and… clear path with marzipan!

Info

  • This is the only map where the GIGN fights.
  • The parasols in one of the courtyards are immune to any damage from above, including that from air support. You only take damage if the projectile hits next to the umbrella.
  • One of the newspapers says “The President is playing Spec Ops. Government says Spec Ops is good for health”.
  • The Eiffel Tower is strangely on water, which you can see if you fly there in spectator mode. Also, it fell in the mission The Iron Lady, but is still standing in the map.
  • If you go into the tunnel hidden by shadows in the northwest of the map in multiplayer, you can’t lie down.
  • If one or more players lie down on the green car in the survival battle, they become immune to any damage, whether from juggernauts or helicopters. For this to work, the green car must be completely detonated beforehand.
  • There are countless cafes and stores in the map, whose windows can be shot, but the rooms themselves cannot be entered.

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
