The Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Invitational 2022 kicks off on February 8.
Ubisoft announced today that the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Invitational 2022 will take place from February 8 to 20. After a long – Season , the world’s top 20 teams are preparing for the most anticipated event of the year in Rainbow Six e-sports, hoping to claim the title of World Champion and lift the coveted gavel.
Due to new regulations and event restrictions in Quebec, Canada, where the 2022 Six Invitational was scheduled to take place, the event was moved to Stockholm, Sweden. As the health and safety of professional players, fans, employees and partners is a top priority for Ubisoft, the event will be held in a LAN environment with strict sanitation measures and there will be no on-site audience.
The Six Invitational is more than just a tournament. It’s a special moment for the entire Siege family, the host of jaw-dropping matchups, community events, and exciting news to kick off a new year of gaming. In addition to the competitions, the event will also feature reveal panels on February 19 with details on the next – Season of Rainbow Six Siege, and updates on the future of the game and its esports scene on February 20 during the Year 7 Roadmap offer.
In addition, for this sixth edition, select streamers and content creators will be able to provide an additional viewer experience for the Six Invitational on their own channels as part of Ubisoft’s new online Watch Party program. The Watch Party program opens up a new opportunity for the 2022 Six Invitational as it aims to provide more ways for the Rainbow Six community to enjoy their favorite e-sports content.
The competition will begin with the group stage, where the 20 qualified teams will be divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each, with the top 4 teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.

- February 12: Group stage
- February 16 and 18-19: Playoffs, with a rest day on February 17.
- February: Grand Final
