Last night’s hotfix package (from March 30 to March 31, 2022) for World of Warcraft was comparatively small, but once again it contained stuff for the Mausoleum of the First *yawn*. More exciting are the changes for the Mage Tower and Burning Crusade Classic.
As we all know, a bug recently caused several Progress guilds to lose the Dungeon Master in the Mausoleum of the First of WoW: Shadowlands without defeating the final stage. Were able to. Spoiler: There was no fix for this bug in last night’s hotfixes (i.e. March 30-31, 2022). Nevertheless, three bosses from the current raid play a role in the current hotfix package as well. There were also adjustments for the Mage Tower, Burning Crusade Classic, and Tazavesh.
Highlights of the WoW hotfixes from March 31, 2022
First, let’s take a look at the highlights of the March 31, 2022 hotfixes:
- Attentive Guardian: Fixed a bug where unstable bullets would not detonate when players tried to detonate them in mid-air. In that case, you could no longer interact with them at all. Also, players no longer have an extra action button that just shows up with no function.
- Anduin: There was a problem with the wayfinding of Empowered Treacherous Stars Fixed.
- Lords of Terror: The time to unmask Mal’Ganis and Kin’tessa during the infiltration phase has been increased from 30 to 40 seconds on Normal. If you are unable to track down the Lords, there is now a shadowy effect that highlights the infiltrated target.
- Tazavesh: It is now possible to use shadow stepping within “The P.O.S.T.”. The periodic damage of Shuri of So’azmi was reduced by 33 percent.
- Mage Tower: War Councilor Victoria should now be on the Devastated Coast 24/7 to grant players access to the various Mage Tower challenges.
- Burning Crusade Classic: You can now purchase the following PvP items with speed from the Honor Merchant: Defender’s Subjugation Ribbon, Defender submission pendant, Defender’s pardon pendant and Combat master zeal.

- Sepulcher of the First Ones
- Vigilant Guardian
- Fixed an issue where Unstable Orbs would fail to detonate and become non-interactive if a player attempted to detonate them in mid-air.
- Fixed an issue that incorrectly gave players an unusable extra action button during the encounter.
- Anduin Wrynn
- Fixed an issue with the pathing of Empowered Wicked Stars.
- Lords of Dread
- Time to unmask Mal’Ganis and Kin’tessa during Infiltration of Dread has been increased to 40 seconds on Normal difficulty (was 30 seconds).
- If players are unable to unmask the dreadlords during Infiltration of Dread, a shadowy visual will persist on the infiltrated targets so players can see who the infiltrated were.
- Vigilant Guardian
- Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder
- Mailroom Mayhem
- Fixed an issue where Shadowstep could not be used while inside The P.O.S.T.
- So’azmi
- Shuri periodic damage reduced by 33%.
- Mailroom Mayhem
Mage Tower
- War Councilor Victoria should now always be present on the Broken Shore for players to access the various Mage Tower challenges.
Burning Crusade Classic
- Player versus player
- The PvP Spell Haste items Vindicator’s Band of Subjugation, Vindicator’s Pendant of Subjugation, Vindicator’s Pendant of Reprieve as well as the Battlemaster’s Alacrity trinket have been added to the Honor vendor.
