Heroes Dota 2 – Centaur Warrunner

Heroes (Dota 2)

The heroines and heroes (original: “Heroes”) are the primary playable entities in DotA and Dota 2. In a game, each player takes control of one of the 112 playable heroines and heroes. Each hero and heroine is a character with different attributes, abilities and roles. Each heroine and hero can also be categorized by the default attacks, which happen either in melee or ranged attacks.

Valve plans to develop their own heroines and heroes for Dota 2 after the release of the classic heroines and heroes from DotA Allstars, as Erik Johnson previously announced in a 2014 interview. After the release of Arc Warden in December 2015 and that of Underlord in August 2016, the first hero developed exclusively for Dota 2, Monkey King, appeared in winter 2016, although it was at least based on concepts from classic DotA and appeared there as an boss opponent. The Dueling Fates announced in August 2017 confirmed the release of two completely redesigned heroes.

Centaur Warrunner: “I step into a new arena.”

Bradwarden, the Centaur Warrunner, is a hero from DotA and Dota 2. The melee hero makes up for his low agility and intelligence with the highest strength growth rate in the game. He belongs to the Radiant. In the game, he can take the role of a Durabler, Disabler and Initiator. Hoof Stomp damages and stuns nearby enemies. Double Edge lets Centaur Warrunner add relatively large damage to himself and surrounding enemies, though he himself cannot die from the damage. Centaur Warrunner’s passive ability Return lets him deflect damage he receives from enemies and bounce it back at them at a small percentage of his own strength. With his Ultimate Stampede, Centaur Warrunner and also the heroes allied with him, since the ability is global, can overrun the enemy ranks and slow down and damage affected enemies. Stampede can be improved with Aghanim’s Scepter and allows allied Heroes to run over impassable terrain, taking 70% less damage.

Centaur Warrunner- Hype

Centaur Warrunner can both deal and take damage. He charges ahead of his team towards the battlefield, stunning his opponents with a powerful hoof strike and reflecting damage with each attack against him. Motivated by his onslaught, his allies also move faster, whether into battle or on the run.

Centaur Warrunner- Biography

“They say the path of a centaur is paved with the corpses of the fallen. For the one they call Warrunner, it has truly been a long road. By outsiders, the four-legged clans of Druud are often mistaken for simple, cruel creatures. Their language has no written form; their culture no pictographic traditions, structured music, formalized religion. For centaurs, battle is the perfect formulation of thought, the highest expression of themselves. If killing is a centaur art, then Bradwarden the Warrunner is their greatest artist. He developed his dominance on the proving grounds of Omexe, an ancient arena where centaur clans have gathered for millennia to practice their gladiatorial rites. As his fame spread, spectators traveled from far and wide to see the great centaur in action. He was always the first to enter the arena and always the last to leave. He composes a masterpiece with every flickering splash, every thrust of the blood-dripping blade. It is blood poetry on steel, in complex patterns across the pale sands of the battlefield. Warrunner has defeated warrior after warrior until the arena shook with the cheers of his name and he found himself alone, an undisputed champion without equal. The great belt of Omexe was dedicated to him and strapped around his broad torso, but in his victory the survivalist found only emptiness. What is the point of warriors if there is no challenge? The Great Centaur galloped out of Omexe that same day with a new target. To his peers, Warrunner is the greatest warrior to ever enter the arena. Now he has set out to prove that he is the greatest warrior who has ever lived.”
