To activate the bonus, you first have to invest the corresponding amount as real money once in the sports betting offer at odds of 1.65 or more. A classic VIP offer or loyalty program is not available at Betano, but one or the other additional bonus is. First of all, Betano offers “missions” now and then, in my case for a €10 free bet, for example. For this, I had to place five bets on a betting slip for at least €10 with odds from 2.0. You unlock missions in the betting account. Then Betano pays special attention to combination bets. With the three times a day possible combination bonus you combine five to ten bets from a specified betting pool and receive up to 50% more profit depending on the number. The combination insurance goes in the other direction and gives you up to 25 € back if only one single bet in such a large combination bet was wrong. Interesting are also the (under restrictions) special promotions that you get your bet back in case of a wrong result tip in a goalless draw and you win tendencies on victories already if the team leads with two goals.

Betano’s betting offer meets my requirements and can be described as outstanding. Especially as a soccer betting provider, the portfolio also includes games from the top leagues and even for the 3rd league, an average of 160 betting options are still available. As soon as you follow games live, the design changes to dark tones and becomes a bit less attractive, at least for me. Unfortunately, there is no visual signal when odds change. You can create your own conference via favorites and as soon as you have selected a game, you can follow it in 2D or 3D with current information in the mini game field on the right. Further statistics can be opened and the category “SuperLive” opens up in the betting options. Here you can predict which game situations will arise in the coming minutes, such as corner kicks or throw-ins. Of course, this drifts strongly in the direction of gambling, but it is all the more exciting for it.

My experience with deposit and withdrawal
Making a deposit at Betano is uncomplicated and fast. The clearly arranged deposit area makes it very easy for you, so that a deposit only takes a few minutes.

Functions & Design

On the whole, I like the web presence, which is available in both German and English. Betano, like some new sports betting providers, deviates slightly from the traditional design, but does not get too creative and thus remains quickly accessible. The rather red orange as the base color might be too much for some, but the main content stays with a classic white background and thus looks respectable. I quickly got used to the intelligent game selection and like the various filter options. So I would definitely grant Betano a modern look, but somehow I miss a bit of the pizzazz behind it. I find it nice that there are always three main events including a photo as the top banner, where otherwise often only monotonous graphics linger.

Then I really like the fact that the live area is clearly demarcated, when here suddenly the design changes to dark. This simple trick also creates a completely different mood, but unfortunately it loses clear demarcations. It is also strange that you first have to go to the live calendar to get to the live offer, only to be led back into the light again. This may be complaining on a high level, but my criticism of the betting slip unfortunately has real substance. It remains statically stuck in the upper right corner and does not scroll with you like almost everywhere else. So when you browse through 200 betting markets and reach the bottom at some point, you don’t immediately see the effects of the bets you’ve just placed. Instead, you always scroll all the way to the top first. This gets annoying after a short time and could be avoided so easily.
