The Gamescom 2022 week is packed with events, receptions, parties, concerts and autograph sessions – an overview.

Update August 26, 2022 (8pm): Microsoft Xbox is hosting the ‘PC Game Pass Gamescom Challenge’ on Gamescom Saturday and Sunday – live from the Xbox booth in Hall 8, featuring streamers such as Gronkh, Gnu, Starlet Nova, Mexify, Reved, Divi, Vlesk, Kapuzenwurm, Mahluna and Sterzik. The exact dates and times will be announced on the Xbox social media channels over the course of the weekend (update to follow!).

Update as of August 26, 2022 (7 a.m.): There are quite a few schedule changes and precisions for today, Friday (see below). If you want to see your favorite Creators, you’ll have a good chance to do so at the AMD show in Hall 6 and all day at the TikTok booth in Hall 7.

Due to many (many!) requests: There will be no Gamescom Meet & Greet with Gronkh this year.

Update from August 24, 2022 (10pm): Thursday is the first ‘real’ Gamescom day, as Halls 5 to 10 are open to the public all day for the first time. Accordingly, the list of shows and actions is long (see below).

A Paluten autograph session at the booth of car manufacturer Mini in Hall 5 was added at short notice.

Friends of cultivated riffs should check out the Metal: Hellsinger-concert, which will take place at 7 p.m. in hall 6. Admission is included in the regular ticket price. Influencer Gnu and comedian Kaya Yanar will be stopping by McDonald’s in Hall 8.

Update from August 24, 2022: Operations at the Cologne exhibition center start today with the Trade Visitor and Media Day. Those who have obtained a ‘Wild Card’ as a private visitor may enter the halls from 1 p.m. onwards.

The ‘political opening’ takes place in the late afternoon, after which an enormous entourage of federal, state and local politicians and their entourages explore selected trade show booths.

Update from August 22, 2022: As it turned out today, there are two Signing Area spaces – one in Hall 8, one in Hall 10.2. This means that the Creators will be split up. The times should not change – we will inform you about the exact hall allocation in time.

Update as of August 17, 2022: For security reasons, the exact times for the appearances of individual YouTubers, streamers, influencers and VIPs will either not be communicated at all or only with an extremely short lead time. So we will probably only be able to add some dates at a very late stage (which admittedly does not make ticket planning any easier).

Message dated August 8, 2022: After two purely digital Gamescom editions, the video games event is back on site at the Cologne exhibition center. At the same time as many renowned game manufacturers, events are also returning to the cathedral city – albeit often on a somewhat more compact scale than in 2019. In addition, some companies are not official Gamescom partners and instead organize their own events in the Gamescom environment, whether in restaurants, bars or hotels.

Below is a preliminary list of confirmed dates. The table will be updated in the coming days and weeks. significantly increase.
