What we already know about FIFA 23

Still during the summer it will be really exciting again. EA Sports will reveal piece by piece and video by video smaller information about FIFA 23 to hype the FIFA community to the maximum for the new part.

We have some information even now. All other open questions we try to estimate by past titles.

When will FIFA 23 be released ?
The release of FIFA 23 is not fixed yet. Usually the game will be released on the last Friday of September. In the house of EA Sports, however, it also happened in the past that the release was postponed by a week. The release of FIFA 23 is expected on September 30, 2022.

Industry insider Tom Henderson published an article on exputer.com, in which he is said to have learned through sources that also this year FIFA will be released on the Friday, September 30, already mentioned above.

Is there a World Cup mode in FIFA 23?
The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar starting on November 21, 2022. At this time FIFA 23 will be available since a few weeks. According to scene insider Tom Henderson, there will be two World Cup modes in FIFA 23. So you’ll get the chance to play a women’s World Cup and a men’s World Cup. If and how the World Cup license will be implemented in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team is not known yet. But there could be a FUT World Cup mode detached from the normal mode, where you can build an Ultimate Team out of World Cup participants.

Who will release FIFA 23?
FIFA 23 will be published by publisher EA Sports. However, the name license is expiring. So next year we could expect FIFA 24 to be produced either by the Football Association itself or by another publisher.

What is the name of FIFA 23?
The new title of EA Sports’ soccer simulation will once again be called FIFA. The following year, the game is to get a new name. The name EA Sports Football Club has now been officially confirmed by the publisher.

Is FIFA 23 to become free to play?
In the meantime there was talk about a subscription model. But so far this model has not been confirmed. So we can expect different editions again.

How much will FIFA 23 cost?

Will FIFA 23 support crossplay?
We can strongly assume that players:inside of different consoles and PC players:inside will be able to play against each other in FIFA 23. The necessary tests are already executed in FIFA 22 and also the corresponding code snippets were already published by leaker accounts.

Will FIFA 23 be available on the PlayStation 4?
There is currently no reason to believe that FIFA 23 will only be released on the next-gen consoles. The new consoles are still too rare on the market and therefore there will be enough Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players.
