On March 10th EA Sports released the new Team of the Week in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. In TOTW 24 you can find some exciting cards from the top leagues in Europe after the derby weekend.
The last Team of the Week gave us, among others, inform cards for Jan Oblak and Robert Lewandowski, but Leon Goretzka from FC Bayern Munich surprisingly went empty-handed. Now the brand new TOTW 24 is finally here and not only brings strong cards, but also a whole five upgrades of FUT What If players finally find their way into the game.
Casemiro (Real Madrid) and Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) are at 91 and 90 OVR respectively, the most exciting cards are secured by Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich) and Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) whose Headliners cards also receive an upgrade.
FIFA 21: TOTW 24 with four Bundesliga players
Compared to the manageable TOTW from the previous week, TOTW 24 doesn’t really look much better. The two best cards – Casemiro (91 OVR) and Harry Kane (90 OVR) are not playable in FIFA 21 due to a lack of pace.
At least we can expect two headliners upgrades: Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich) rises to 89 OVR, Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) also comes to a total of 89. But hey: James Tavernier (Glasgow Rangers) also rises after the weekend’s winning streak.

TOTS in FIFA 22 started on April 29th. With the Community TOTS as well as the Eredivisie it goes into the weeks of truth in FUT. Who performed and will get in – and who will miss the TOTS cards? We’ll keep you up to date.
FIFA 23 WILL BE THE LAST PART OF THE GAME SERIES UNDER THIS NAME
FIFA 23 will be the last part of the game series to be released under the name of the world governing body and in collaboration with EA. For months the rumor mill was bubbling, now all this has been confirmed by the game makers EA in May 2022. The fact is that after almost 30 years of partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, the license agreement between the two parties will expire with the game FIFA 23.
Already with the launch of FIFA 22, Electronic Arts revealed the following in a blog post: There exists “the idea to rename our global EA Sports soccer games.” According to speculation, the world governing body FIFA has demanded double the amount for a continuation of the cooperation in new contract negotiations with EA. Exact figures have not been confirmed, but it is said to have been a sum in the billions for a total of ten more years.
So it is not surprising that the partnership of EA and FIFA ends with the upcoming game FIFA 23. In the past months it was to be read again and again that the game developers were to have been anyway increasingly dissatisfied with the partnership. EA is even said to have found FIFA to be a hindrance in the development of the games.
