Amazon announces six new free games and lots of in-game content available exclusively to Prime customers for August. Among them StarCraft Remastered and Zak McKracken. Our overview shows all titles, new loot and twitch drops for the next month.
While Amazon had a big launch around Prime Day in July, they are returning to the traditional number of only six free titles in August. For the first time, gamers will benefit from the recently announced cooperation between the online retailer and Blizzard Entertainment. With Starcraft Remastered, the publisher provides a new edition of the strategy classic that is already five years old in the Prime Gaming library, but thus provides an added value of about 15 Euros.
In addition, the classic point-and-click adventure Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders will be included alongside the more or less well-known indie titles Beasts of Maravilla Island, Recompile, ScourgeBringer, and Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises. Furthermore, Amazon is spotlighting the Call of Duty League next month, which will host its Championship Weekend from August 4-7. To go along with this, various content for CoD Warzone and Vanguard will be available for pickup.
A variety of the in-game loot announced today is already available on the Prime Gaming website. These include new drops for World of Warcraft (WoW), Lost Ark, Overwatch, Apex Legends, FIFA 22, Destiny 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA Online). Later in August, packages will also be added for New World, Elder Scrolls Online, Red Dead Online, and Dead by Daylight. As usual, a direct link to the game account and Prime Gaming is required.
