Blizzard officials have finally revealed the important dates surrounding the launch of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic! Spoiler: Naxxramas, the Eye of Eternity and Obsidian Sanctum will not be available immediately at launch.

Finally! Blizzard’s Classic team has finally announced the important dates around the Launch of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic revealed! This includes the timed milestones of the pre-launch phase, of course, but also details about Braufest, Arena – Season 5, and the opening of the three raid instances of Phase 1. All dates for the launch of WotLK Classic

• August 31:
  • The preparation patch begins: The preparation patch for Wrath of the Lich King begins and the realms for the new start go live during regional maintenance.
• September 6-13:
  • Event – zombie plague: A mysterious disease is spreading through the capital cities. Players must be on guard to avoid succumbing to its deadly effects.
• September 13 to release:
  • Event – Scourge Invasion: In various locations across Azeroth, players must take defensive measures against an attacking Necropolis and defeat Scourge forces to earn powerful rewards.

• September 20 – October 6:
  • The brewing festival beginsDon’t you crave festive grub, dozens of drinks, and the rampant whipping of unruly rams around baskets of apples? Join activities and timed events to earn souvenirs and achievements in this brow-raising holiday event.
• September 27:
  • Wrath of the Lich King Classic Launch: At midnight CEST, Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be released and players will be able to log in.
• October 4 and 5:
  • Arena – Season 5 begins: – Season 5 begins with the weekly reset.

• October 7:
  • Naxxramas, The Eye of Eternity, and The Obsidian Sanctum. will be available at midnight CEST
    • Naxxramas, the vast necropolis and seat of the dreaded lich Kel’Thuzad, hovers above the Wintergarde stronghold in Dragondeath, just waiting to aid the lich king in his deadly machinations.
    • The Eye of Eternity is located in the middle of Kaltarra. Here players must defeat the blue dragon aspect of Malygos.
    • The Dragon’s Lair is also home to the Obsidian Sanctum, where players must venture beneath the Temple of Wyrmruh to destroy Sartharion and his lieutenants Shadron, Tenebron, and Vesperon.
