The ToyBox guide to world events – here you’ll find all the places and events that will bring you more toys. Whether it’s the Moon Festival, Solstice Festival, Brew Festival or the Festival of the Winter Veil.
If you diligently search each world event, you will get about 30 more toys… preferably every year. Otherwise, things can get pretty tight depending on the event, whether it’s an insanely low drop chance or minimum amounts of certain – Season al currencies. In the following section you can find out on which holidays you can get which toys. Important: This is the current status. You want to have a fiery and hot dance? Try the Brazier of Dancing Flames. But what you really want is quite clear – get drunk uncontrollably and throw some sausages on the grill. This can only be done with the Braufest barrel and steam-powered sausage grill. Of course, the gifts for the Winter Hauchfest 2015 can still change. For easy reference, you can jump from chapter to chapter using the table of contents on the left side of the article. The Moonfest
The Moon Festival is the counterpart to the Chinese New Year, where the people of Azeroth celebrate the long-ago first victory over the Burning Legion. There are fireworks and light decorations all over Azeroth – even the ghostly ancestors and elders show up, where quests can be obtained and turned in. In 2015, the Moon Festival took place from February 2 to March 3.
You can currently obtain three toys at the Moon Festival, nothing particularly spectacular, but at least you can create beautiful lighting scenes!
Getting Elune’s lantern is more than easy! Get the quest “Elune’s Blessing” from Valadar Starsong in Nighthaven, then defeat the monster Omen that resides in the local lake. When you complete the quest, you’ll receive the lantern.
Horde Inexhaustible Fireworks / Alliance Inexhaustible Fireworks The fireworks are no less simple, but much more complex. For it, you need to collect 25 ancestor coins and then you will get the fireworks in exchange. When you unlock the fireworks of one faction, the toys of the other faction are automatically unlocked as well.
Hallows End
Let’s face it, the only thing we hope to get out of this event is the Headless Horseman’s steed. But if that doesn’t work out (again), at least we get a toy!
The little willow man is available for 150x trick-or-treaters. The burning straw doll also doubles as a cooking station. Trick-or-treat currency can be obtained from sugar water containers found at innkeepers throughout Azeroth. The vendors of the Feast of Hallow’s End, on the other hand, can be found by Hordeans in the courtyard of the Undercity and by Allians outside the gates of Stormwind.
Feast of the Pilgrim’s Reward
Roast turkey and other delicacies until you drop – who thinks of toys? Exactly: we do! At the Pilgrim’s Bounty Festival you can really only get one toy, and for that you need a fair amount of luck.
With a bit of luck, you’ll find the silver-plated turkey can in Pilgrim’s Bounty – that’s the name of the container you’ll receive as a reward for completing one of five Pilgrim’s Bounty daily quests. The drop chance of just three percent per Pilgrim’s Bounty isn’t great, but at least you’ll be able to pull off five dailies per day – that’s a total of 40 chances during the event.
Solstice
All of the toys you can obtain during the two-week Solstice Festival can be exchanged for Burning Blossoms from the Festival Vendor. However, the prices are pretty steep and even if you do all the daily quests and graze all the existing solstice fires, it will be difficult to get the almost 1,200 necessary fire flowers together. Anyway, these items await you at the Midsummer Festival:
Cozy Campfire – 350 Burning Blossoms
Brazier of Dancing Flames – 350 Burning Blossoms
Medallion of the Flaming Defender – 500 Burning Blossoms
The toys are rather, well…ordinary – except for the Brazier of Dancing Flames that makes you a hot dancer!
Feast of Winter Veil
From December 25th there will be gifts, also in WoW: There are many different ones and depending on the type of package, the theoretically possible content also changes. The range of items to be dusted off is growing every year; The tables tell you which gift packages are available where and what can be included in them.
Slightly Shaken Present
These are the gift packages that will be under Grandfather Winter’s Christmas tree from December 25th and will beckon with a yellow exclamation mark. The content is random, but usually one of the six items listed below. A little tip: To open such a gift, all you need is a level 1 character: so if you’re still missing toys, simply create a twink and have fun with another set of packages!
Stolen Gift
These packages are awarded as a reward for the daily trip to Alterac Valley. Complete the Daily So What Mean… open the box and cross your fingers for yourself. If you’re lucky, you’ll get one of the toys in the table below.
And one more thing! Winter Veil Disguise Set : Once your character completes the quest “So What Mean…” for the very first time, it will take almost 24 hours before you receive another Winter Veil gift in the mail. The Winter Veil disguise set comes as a thank you for your efforts in the war against thieving yetis.
There’s love in the air
Last but not least: even romantics can look forward to toys. However, there are not many toys. Sometimes they are even really stupid to get hold of.
The Lover’s Picnic Basket costs you ten Love Tokens from the Love Festival Vendor. These badges can be obtained through daily quests or by exchanging Pretty Charm Bracelets . You make it from ten lucky charms , which you in turn get by killing enemies – meanwhile you have to have a collection set for pretty lucky charms in your backpack. But don’t worry: ten characters are peanuts!
The Prism of True Love isn’t remotely cool enough to warrant the effort involved. The toy is the reward for the achievement [wowachievement=9394] – the last of a three-part achievement series. The goal is to be shot at with 50 Love Prisms. You can get them from the event dealer for 40 tokens of love each – but with only one charge. This means that the required reagents are already quite expensive. The much bigger problem is likely to be finding the necessary 50 players who do the “fun”.
The Heartbreaker – At this point you have to trust your luck again. Because this item is only possibly contained in a heart-shaped box . However, they only come once a day and only if you kill the event boss (the apothecary trio in Schattenfang Keep).
Brewfest
The toys you can snag during the two-week binge are similar to the toys at the Solar Wind Festival: all items cost a special currency – Brewfest Tokens. The stamps are now impossible to collect all in one – Season . This is primarily due to the fact that new toys are added almost every year, especially now, after the introduction of the ToyBox.
The items in the table below are current, but it’s entirely possible that new toys will be added with the next Brewfest.
