WoW TBC Classic: Large overview page with all information about phase 2

Next week (September 11 at 12:01 am) Phase 2 of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic will start. In this overview article, we not only reveal which innovations you can expect, we also give you help for the new raid bosses, factions and challenges.

Even if patch 2.5.2 has been online for a little while, phase 2 of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic will only start in the upcoming ID. To be more precise: on the night of September 15th to 16th, at 0:01 a.m. In this overview article we have summarized all the innovations that will enrich Outland from Thursday. You’ll also learn how to beat the bosses in the new raid instances, how to farm reputation with the new factions, and everything else you need to know about the Phase 2 content.

Tier 5 is here! Outland’s new raid instances
With Phase 2 of TBC Classic, we get access to the two raid challenges that were part of the launch pack back in 2007, Serpentshrine and the Eye in Tempest Keep.

WoW: TBC Classic – This awaits you in the snake shrine
After the two raid quickies in phase 1, the Serpentshrine is the first reasonably large 25-player instance that you will enter in the TBC era. A total of six bosses await you in the center of Zangamarsh. However, before you can march through the entrance and take the (careful! deadly!) elevator down, you must first complete a quest line that first takes you to the Slave Pens, where you can obtain the quest The Cudgel of from Nar’biss the Heretic Kar’desh obtained . You complete this task by defeating Gruul and the Terror of the Night (Karazhan). This is how you get the Mark of Vashj , which grants you access to the Serpent Shrine.

6 bosses
Final boss Lady Vashj
The Serpent Shrine drops the tokens for the Tier 5 set Gloves, Pants, and Helm.
GUIDE: WoW TBC Classic: Serpentshrine Cavern – How to beat the bosses
Important: For two bosses in the snake shrine, selected players of your raid must get resistance clothes! When fighting Hydross you need a tank with as much frost resistance as possible and a tank with as much nature resistance as possible. It can also help if your add-tanks have some Frost and Nature Resistance clothes equipped. In the fight against Leotheras , however, a player (preferably a sorcerer) is required who tanks the demon form of the boss with the highest possible fire resistance value.

The second raid of phase 2 also requires you to complete a (long) quest line before you can enter Tempest Keep. Before you can accept the actual task for the Key of Storms at Khadgar, however, you must first master a long chain of quests in Shadowmoon Valley, for which you should, among other things, knock out several elite opponents. To get the key, you will then be sent to the Shattered Halls, Shadow Maze, Steam Vault, and Arcatraz dungeons.

Last but not least, it’s Magtheridon’s turn. The effort is worth it, after all you need to defeat the final boss Kael’thas for the following phase 3 (unlocking access authorization for the tier 6 ). In addition, one of the most coveted mounts in Outland can drop in the final fight against Kael’thas. Oh, and there’s Tier 5 set parts and other great loot, of course.

4 bosses

The Shoulderguard and Chestpiece Tier 5 set tokens drop in Tempest Keep.
GUIDE: WoW TBC Classic: This is how you master the bosses in the Raid Keep of Storms
You don’t necessarily need resistance equipment for the bosses in the eye. Only with High Astromancer Solarian does a lot of damage hit the raid. Depending on which version of the boss will end up on the live servers, it can be helpful to protect yourself at least somewhat, with Violet Badge and large arcane protection potions, for example.

Epic druid flight form and raven lord farm
But phase 2 has another highlight to offer. Druids can finally earn their epic flight form via a quest line. All information about the Raven Lord and the quest line can be found here:

More Phase 2 Nuggets
Blizzard had announced that they wanted to weaken Tier 4 content with Phase 2. There was no information about this in the patch notes. We had previously looked at what nerfs were in the original TBC for the Phase 1 Dungeons and Raids . What’s definitely coming with Phase 2: the epic engineering goggles ! And with the two raid instances, new crafting recipes also end up in Outland, which will give your virtual hero one or the other item upgrade.
