Even if the upcoming raid challenges Black Temple, Serpentshrine Cave and the Eye are not yet available in phase 1 of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, you can already start and sometimes even complete the associated attunement quest lines. And you should too, after all, some of the quest lines are very long and complex.
In phase 1 of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic there is a lot to do apart from the level phase. Through reputation grind and various quests, we gradually gain access to all the dungeon and raid challenges that are already available in Outland.
Anyone who is allowed to enter Karazhan and all (heroic) dungeons can take on the next task right away. Because for the upcoming raid challenges from phase 2 and 3 you also need the completion of the associated attunement quest lines. Some of them are so long and complex that you shouldn’t wait until the last moment to tackle them. On the contrary, our tip is: Master the access requirements for the Serpentshrine Cavern and the Eye now. And you can also work towards access to the Black Temple right now.
WoW: TBC Classic – Step 1: Get the Addon Attune
We already introduced you to the addon Attune in a special . At this point we want to emphasize again: There is probably no more important addon for raid enthusiasts in TBC Classic – apart from deadly boss mods and an aggro display.
It is not easy to keep track of all the access requirements of Outland, some of which are nested with one another. And this is where Attune comes in. The addon helps you to keep track of your progress in the various pre-quest series through the clear display. In addition, you always know what to do for the next step and how many challenges are still ahead of you. If you haven’t installed the addon yet, be sure to do so!
WoW: TBC Classic – Attunement for the eye
Already at level 68 you can go to Shadowmoon Valley and start the quest line for the Eye in Shadowmoon or the Wildhammer Fortress. In both cases, it starts with The Hand of Gul’dan . A total of eight consecutive solo missions await you until you can finally start the “The Cipher of Damnation” quest line at Oronok Herzeleid at Oronok’s court in Shadowmoon Valley.
This quest line now branches into three separate strands, most of which you can master on your own. At the end , two 5-player challenges await you with The Cipher of Damnation – Borak’s Assault and The Cipher of Damnation .
After completing this quest line you will end up with Khadgar and A’dal in Shattrath City. From the latter you will then receive the Trials of the Naaru. These are three quests for which you must defeat the respective final bosses, loot items and save Millhouse Manastorm in the heroic dungeons Arcatraz, Shadow Labyrinth, Steam Vault and Shattered Halls.
Once you’ve done all that, after a stopover at A’dal, it’s on to Magtheridon’s chamber, where you have to send the chief demon onto the boards. We emphasize once again: You definitely don’t want to do all this at the last minute! If you succeed in defeating Magtheridon, you will be rewarded with the Key of Storms, which you can use to enter the Eye.
WoW: TBC Classic – The Attunement for the Serpentshrine Cavern
Once you have Revered reputation with the Cenarion Circle, you can trigger this attunement. Visit Nar’iss the Heretic in his prison in the Heroic Slave Pens and accept the quest The Cudgel of Kar’desh from him. And what should you do? So …
Obtain the Flame Sigil from Night Terror in Karazhan
Obtain the Earth Seal from Gruul at Gruul’s Lair
Since you already get access to the Serpentshrine Cave by submitting the quest, you can complete the attunement now.
WoW: TBC Classic – The Attunement for the Black Temple
Spoiler: You can’t fully complete this Attunement just yet. At the end of the quest line you have to enter the Serpent Shrine, the Eye and the Battle of Hyjal, among other things, in order to fulfill certain quest goals there.
But first you have to complete a whole series of quests in Shadowmoon Valley, and let’s start with Arcanist Thelis (Seer, in the Sanctum of the Stars) or Anchoretin Ceyla (Aldor, in the Altar of Sha’tar) with the quest “Tablets of Baa’ri”. . You can master many of the quests that are now pouring in on you alone. However, there is also a 5-player challenge awaiting you, which you should tackle in a timely manner in order to easily find teammates for the quest: The Terrace of Ata’mal
Once you’ve defeated Shadowlord Death Wail and then spoken to Akama at the Warden’s Dungeon, you can chill. It only goes on when the cave of the snake shrine opens.
