This time, the race should be much more interesting than in the previous raids. Because the final three bosses, including the dungeon master himself, were neither tested on the PTR, nor they were playable on normal or heroic during the first week of the raid. It will not only be exciting to see how the guilds do on bosses they couldn’t figure out detailed tactics for beforehand, but also what order the groups go in. Do they go straight for the mythical bosses or do they watch the fights in heroic mode first and take some equipment with them?

We’ll get to see answers to these questions live during the race. Because once again, almost all the top guilds are streaming their progress through the raid. And not only that. Most of the guilds have also set up complete events – including a host of commentators and a supporting program. So that you know where you can watch the Race to World First, we have summarized the most important of these events for you here.

Aversion – the German top guild

As in the past, Aversion will not only stream the Race to World First live, but also accompany it with six different commentators – live from the Esport Arcarde in Essen. Of course you can follow the stream live on Twitch:

Echo – the reigning champion

The top guild Echo was able to win World First in the Sanctum of Domination and now wants to defend their title. 14 raiders and six commentators have gathered at RCADIA in Hamburg and are hosting a massive live event with all kinds of WoW celebrities. In doing so, they support the non-profit organization Rise above the Disorder.

Liquid – the biggest challenger

The guild, formerly known as Limit and now partnered with esports organization Team Liquid, is streaming live from Helix eSports in Foxborough, Massachusetts – which is also home to the New England Patriots football team. All 28 Raiders and eleven! Commentators provide you 24/7 with livestreams, multiple talk shows, Q&A rounds and various sweepstakes. Liquid also supports a charity with it: Girls Who Code.

Method – the former series winner

No other guild has achieved more World Firsts than Method. However, after the departure of many players (who then founded Echo), the titles have so far failed to materialize. Leader Sco has once again put together a strong team and is aiming for at least a place on the podium. In their “for the community, by the community” event, there are plenty of shows and live streams. Method supports the charity Safe in Our World.

SK Pieces – on the rise

The European guild has recently teamed up with the esport organization SK Gaming and immediately set up an event. SK Gaming supports the German Kindernothilfe financially. Unlike the other events, however, this one is only broadcast as long as Pieces is raiding. At night, repeats of the day can be seen – in case you missed something.

Big Dumb Golden Guardians – the outsider

The last big top guild is BDGG – formerly known as Big Dumb Guild. The guild, led by their maintank Slootbag, has twelve commentators and streams without interruption and complete with communication from all players. They are also less serious and known for many comical interludes.
