WoW: On the wall in wait - the pilgrimage joys 2021 have started!Pilgrim’s Delights 2021 has started! The Pilgrim’s Delights World Event in WoW is a time to reflect on your journeys and happiness, a time to share – good food and entertaining stories. Perfect your cooking , master numerous achievements, and earn the title of “Pilgrim” along with a turkey pet, a mogging hat, and a toy.

In all capitals and in most other Horde and Alliance cities, you can celebrate the Pilgrim’s Feast 2021 from November 23 to 30! You can’t expect any new achievements or challenges, but we would like to point out two special features:

Special feature number 1: Thanks to Pilgrim’s Delight, you will not only be able to activate the reputation bonus through Sharing Makes You Happy, but also benefit from the Buff Holiday Package in parallel. Since the two effects stack, you’ll receive a total reputation bonus of 27 percent!

Special feature number 2: For the time, Night Fae can earn the Soul Form of a turkey as part of the Pilgrim’s Delight. How? Well, via the quest Turkey Soul. And you get the quest when you sit down at a table outside a capital city, eat all the food there five times, and eventually get Sharing Makes Joy. If you now eat all the food again and then get up, you will automatically receive the quest Turkey Soul. Take it to Choofa in the Heart of the Forest in Arden Forest, where you will receive the Turkey Soul Form.

By the way: Information about all other, older achievements of the Pilgrim’s Delights like On the Wall in Waiting can be found further down in the guide.

Update from November 24, 2020: The Pilgrim’s Joys have begun and this should also interest one or two Shadowlands level heroes. Because while there’s no news compared to previous years, you might want to get the reputation buff you get when you eat turkey, cranberries, spice bread stuffing, sweet potatoes, and pie five times each at the Thanksgiving tables. You will then receive the Sharing Makes You Happy buff, which will give you 10 percent more reputation for one hour.

In November of each year, WoW hosts the Pilgrim’s Delights, a holiday inspired by the American Thanksgiving. Holiday NPCs have gathered in the main cities to tell the inhabitants of Azeroth about the Feast of Pilgrim’s Joys.

Accept their Pilgrim’s Delights quest to join in the festivities outside the city and fill your belly at one of the tables. By the way, during the holidays your hero can not only fill his belly, but also get disguises, a pet and achievements. By the way, Twinks like to use the holidays to level up their cooking skills at a furious pace, unless they come to Halfmound in Pandaria.

Before you nibble on the delicacies, we recommend a visit to the Pilgrim’s Delight merchant. Only he will sell you the ultimate The Best of Pilgrim’s Feast – THE Cookbook, which teaches you the traditional dishes of the event, for one silver piece. It contains five recipes with different requirements, which you need for numerous successes. By the way, if you like the Pilgrim’s Hat look, since 2014 you have the opportunity to get a transmogrifiable Fine Pilgrim’s Hat – from the Pilgrim’s Delights , which are available as a reward for the daily quests. It can also include the new pet, Startled Bush Chicken, and the Silver-plated Turkey Can toy.

  • Recipe: Spice Bread Stuffing (Requires Cooking Skill 1)
  • Recipe: Pumpkin Pie (Requires Cooking skill 100)
  • Recipe: Cranberry Chutney Now Increases Versatility! (Requires 160 cooking skill)
  • Recipe: Candied Sweet Potato (Requires cooking skill 220)
  • Recipe: Slow Roasted Turkey Now Increases Mastery! (Requires Cooking skill 280)

You can get the ingredients for each dish from the merchant for a few coppers. Only the turkeys require an extra portion of hunting instinct. The nimble creatures run around everywhere in the forest of Elwynn and Tirisfal, and can quickly escape. With the macro /target Wild Turkey you can increase your chances of catching one of the birds. Once you’ve caught a turkey, stuff it in your bag and cook it over the fire. By the way, you can easily bring your cooking skill up to 300 with these recipes – so the holiday is especially worthwhile for twinks.

WoW Guide: Daily Quests for the Pilgrim’s Delights

Once you have expanded your cooking skills with the five feast dishes, it is time to tackle the daily quests. Because only by mastering these quests will you receive the complete feast outfit. However, in order to accept all five different tasks, you will have to tackle some journeys through Azeroth, as different quests are offered in each capital. The following quests are available:

  • I just can’t get enough… Turkey
  • The stuffing is everything!
  • Trying pies
  • In with the potatoes, out with the potatoes
  • Out of cranberry chutney again?

For each cooking job you complete, you’ll receive one of the following rewards:

  • Pilgrim’s Hat
  • Pilgrim’s robe
  • Pilgrim’s robe
  • Pilgrim’s robe
  • Pilgrim boots
  • Pilgrim’s delights which includes turkey breast

WoW Guide: Pilgrim’s Delights – the food

In addition to all the festive goodies, Pilgrim’s Delight is all about filling your belly with all the delicacies the event has to offer and sharing them with other players. To do this, find one of the richly set tables in the Pilgrim Villages and join the revelers. There is a chair for each of the five different holiday dishes. Depending on which one you have taken a seat on, you can now eat the corresponding dish or pass it on. To do so, simply click on the corresponding icons in your skills bar. A useful side effect of this food fight is the helpful buffs you’ll receive while eating the food. For one hour, your stamina increases, as well as the following attribute, depending on the meal:

  • Pumpkin Pie: Versatility
  • Spice bread: Hit value
  • Sweet potatoes: Speed
  • Cranberries: Spell Power
  • Turkey: attack power

By the way, the attribute buffs also come from the food you get from Pilgrim’s Delight. Once you’ve eaten at least five portions of all the dishes in a row, you’ll receive the insight that sharing is a joy – a buff that increases the reputation you’ve gained by ten percent for an hour.

WoW Guide: Pilgrim’s Delight – the achievements

To mark the Pilgrim’s Feast, achievements have been introduced in WoW, which of course do not go unrewarded: For the Achievement “Pilgrim” you will receive a plump turkey as a pet, in addition to the title of the same name. The prerequisite for the meta achievement “What a long, strange journey…” is none of the Pilgrim’s Pleasure achievements.

“FOOD FIGHT!”

Sit down at one of the richly set tables in the pilgrim villages to throw food around. Because once you’ve chosen one of the five different seating options, you’ll gain new skills in your skill bar. Take the opportunity to pass food to your neighbor and throw the portion right in his face and collect this achievement.

Steaming Pots

For this achievement you have to prepare the listed delicacies. You can get the ingredients from the Pilgrim’s Feast vendors in various capitals.

Candied Sweet Potato : You can buy the Honey and Autumn Spices from any of the Pilgrim’s Feast merchants. Horde players can get the required sweet potato from Mulgore from the merchant in Donnerfels. Alliance members buy the Sweet Potato from Teldrassil from the merchant in Darnassus.

Cranberry Chutney : You will again need Honey from any merchant at the Pilgrim’s Feast. The Horde requires Sour Cranberries from the South Stream as an ingredient, which a merchant outside Orgrimmar will sell you. Alliance heroes get Sour Swamp Cranberries from the merchant outside Ironforge.

Pumpkin Pie: This specialty is also made with honey. Alliance heroes can obtain Ripe Elwynn Pumpkin from the merchant outside Stormwind. Ripe Tirisfal Pumpkin is available from the merchant outside Undercity.

Slow Roasted Turkey : In addition to Autumnal Spices and two servings of Honey, you will need a turkey for this treat. You can hunt wild turkey in Tirisfal or in Elwynn Forest.

Spice Bread Filling : You can bake spice bread with a cooking skill of 1. All you need is some conventional flour and mild spices from the cooking supply store. Then add some Autumn spices and your filling is ready.

Pilgrim’s Stuffing

To get your fill, sit down at a feast table in each of your capitals and eat five candied yams, cranberry chutney, pumpkin pie, slow roasted turkey, and spice bread stuffing. After that mountain of food, you should have worked up quite a paunch!

Pilgrim Menace

Dress in a pilgrim’s robe, robe or robe, and sit down at the richly set table in all four capitals of the enemy faction. You can get the feast outfit by completing the daily quests in the pilgrim villages. For each quest you complete, you can choose one of the following six items:

  • Pilgrim Hat
  • Pilgrim’s robe
  • Pilgrim’s Dress
  • Pilgrim’s Robe
  • Pilgrim boots
  • Turkey box
  • Pilgrim Progress

For this achievement, you will complete each of the required daily tasks once. You can get them outside the capitals of Azeroth by talking to the holiday NPCs.

I just can’t get enough… Turkey

  • The stuffing is everything!
  • Try pie
  • In with the potatoes, out with the potatoes
  • Out of cranberry chutney again?

Sharing brings joy

Sit down at a richly set table and pass around one serving each of Candied Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Chutney, Pumpkin Pie, Slow Roasted Turkey, and Spice Bread Stuffing. For each dish, you’ll need to sit in a different chair. For example, you can serve pumpkin pie only at the pie chair and the crispy birds only at the turkey chair. Once you’ve chosen a seat, new skills will appear in your skills bar. On the One button, you now have the option of handing food to your neighbor. Click on the person sitting next to you, press the corresponding button, and the delicacy will move over to him and success is yours.

Time for Terokkar turkey

Get a pilgrim’s hat and either a pilgrim’s robe, a pilgrim’s robe, or a pilgrim’s robe, and travel to the Sethekk Halls in Terokkar Woods. There, defeat Claw King Ikiss while wearing the pilgrim robe.

The Turkeyator

Hunt a full 40 wild turkeys to earn the Turkey Triumph. You can find the fluttering beasts in Tirisfal and Elwynn during the Pilgrim’s Feast. It’s best to wait for a quiet hour to tackle the achievement. Once you have killed a turkey, you will receive a buff that will expire after half a minute. To refresh the buff, you’ll have to get another turkey as soon as possible – and that could be a problem at times when many other players are also trying to get the achievement. A /target macro – /target Wild Turkey – is helpful. Classes that can increase their running speed also have a clear advantage.

WoW: On the wall in ambush

WoW: On the wall in wait - the pilgrimage joys 2021 have started! For this achievement, you need to hunt down one rogue of each race and shoot them with feathers using a turkey shotgun. You will receive the shotgun as a reward for completing the daily feast tasks if you choose the Pilgrim’s Delight as your reward. Either travel to Stormwind or Orgrimmar, respectively, and lie in wait outside the city walls there – or try Ashran or the Nagrand regions, for example.
