WoW: Item nerfs, no new Legy ranks & more

– Season 4 of WoW: Shadowlands overturns some rules of previous – Season s and brings experimental features for obtaining equipment. In the big FAQ, the developers answer some of the most important questions about the start of the 4th WoW – Season , which we have summarized for you here.

Shortly before the start of the 4th – Season of WoW: Shadowlands many questions were still open, how the new features of the last – Season of the expansion work in detail. In a large FAQ in the WoW forum WoW developer Scariizard answers not all, but some of them. He explains what will happen to the item level of the media as well as Legendarys, how far down Mythic Plus keystones will be at the start of the – Season and revealed some more interesting changes.

For example, sand-crafted relics will become account-bound at the start of the – Season (were previously soul-bound). Another interesting piece of information is that you can use the weapons and trinkets from old raids, which were created with Fateful Raids and the dinar traders will play a role again, once again adjusting (very likely toning down) based on the higher item levels. We have summarized the most important information for you below.

No new Legendary ranks, no reset of Cosmic Flux & much more – the most important info on – Season 4 of WoW Shadowlands

  • Media item level will not be increased.
  • Rank 7 (Ilvl 291) remains the highest item level for Legendarys.
  • No new mark of the craftsman.
  • You keep Cosmic Flux from – Season 3 into – Season 4. Can now be sent to Twinks.
  • Sand-ground relics are account-bound in – Season 4.
  • Items for additional sockets from – Season 3 cannot be carried over.
  • Your highest Mythic Plus Keystone will be downgraded by 3 levels at the start of – Season 4.
  • In the first week of – Season 4, there will be no item level cap for items from M+.
  • Mythic raids are active immediately and cross realm raiding remains active as well.
  • Raid skips from previous – Season s remain.
  • Fated items that become set items can be further upgraded.
  • Sylvanas’ Bow will still not be available for purchase through Confusing Dinar of the Cartel. However, for players who own the bow, middlemen will sell an item that brings the weapon’s item level to 285. It will also increase the drop chance of the bow. Sylvanas will also drop the bow in Fateful Weeks.

WoW: These changes are coming for Arena PvP from WotLK Classic

If you’re planning on playing Arena PvP in WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, check out Blizzard’s new info update:

– Season 4 is an experimental and shorter – Season than any WoW – Season before it. Therefore, few obstacles will be placed in the way of players. Despite the long FAQ in the forum, there are still some unanswered questions. It will be particularly interesting to see how old trinkets such as Soul of an Ancient Warrior will be customized. Is it consciously worth it for the trinket to play a melee in – Season 4, or will it be massively toned down later? This would be important info to share with players right now, but according to the Blue Post it will happen next week at the latest, at the start of the – Season . The complete FAQ including longer explanations can currently be found in the official US forum.
