WoW Guide: Zul’Aman

On to new adventures
With patch 2.3, Blizzard released the second ten-player instance for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade: Zul’Aman in November 2007. Six new bosses await you – and various high-quality epic items, most of which are better than the loot from the Serpent Shrine or the Storm Castle. If you want to successfully visit Zul’Aman, you should have visited the instance of ten Karazhan several times. Epic items from Karazhan are mandatory for Zul’Aman pilgrims – as well as potions and food.

Zul’Aman for professionals: the heroic mode
In the heroic mode, a countdown starts, in which you’ll have to defeat the boss. By doing so, you’ll prevent the death of a prisoner and get an epic item from him. At the same time, the next countdown starts, which gives you a time frame for the next boss… This game continues until the final boss Zul’jin. If you keep the time limit until the last boss, you will get a ring equivalent to the loot of the Black Temple or Mount Hyjal. If you exceed just one countdown, all the prisoners in the instance are lost – and with them the chance to get additional loot.

The way to the instance: From quests, escape points and
Traders Zul’Aman is located in the southeastern part of the Ghost Lands, the starting region of the Blood Elves. Horde followers take the Silvermoon City route, while Alliance members fly from Ironforge to the Hope of Light Chapel in the eastern Plaguelands. From there, you’ll ride north to enter the Spirit Lands. Before the instance, both factions expect a flying point to speed up future arrivals. You should bag all the quests before the instance, because the rewards are numerous: besides gold, you will receive a bag with twenty slots and badges of justice . By the way, the map for the first quest is located at the first boss.
