The secrets of Uldaman have not yet been fully revealed in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm either. There are still expeditions that target the ancient treasures of the titans. In our guide to Uldaman you will learn which adventurous encounters you can master there and what loot awaits you.
Preparation
The main entrance to Uldaman can be found in the north of the wasteland. However, there is also a side entrance in a trogg cave in the mountain where the neutral camp Luntenbrand was built. If you choose the side entrance, you end up directly at the obsidian sentinel (4) and can easily skip a few bosses.
.
Olaf, Eric and Baelog (1)
Fight your way through the tunnel system and enter the instance. Complete the quests and go through the left passage. Keep left and go down the tunnel to Excavation Two. Olaf, Baelog and Eric “The Swift” are waiting there. The three dwarves each perform a different task in battle. Olaf wields a sword and occasionally hits his shield on the skull of the tank. Eric the Swift strikes with melee attacks and lunges to strike when attacked. Baelog fights with a bow and arrow from a distance – but can also go into close combat. Your tank draws in all three enemies and you kill them one by one. After you defeat the dwarves, you loot Baelog’s chest on the table. You will need the medallion for a later boss fight.
Revelosh (2)
Back in the Hall of Keepers, continue through the trogg hordes until you face the gray trogg Revelosh. As you fight him, spread yourself out so his chain lightning doesn’t jump to nearby players. He also damages the tank with a lightning strike. Once his mana is depleted, he only strikes in melee combat. From him you will receive the matching counterpart to the medallion from the previous boss.
Ironaya (3) Combine
the locket with the shaft and enter the map chamber. Eliminate all Troggs in this room and use the Staff of Prehistory you assembled on the Keystone. Shortly thereafter, the huge stone woman Ironaya appears from the door. The tank pulls the boss lady against the wall and turns her away from the group so no one but him gets hit by her bow smasher. It also protects the tank from being pushed across the cave by Ironaya’s knockbacks. Healers and rangers also keep their distance from the boss to avoid being stunned by Ironaya’s war thunder.
Obsidian Sentinel (4)
Now take the north passage and then bear left until you arrive at Echomok Cave. There the Obsidian Sentinel guards the side entrance to Uldaman. Caster classes need to be careful with this boss as he has the ability to throw attack spells back at the attacker with a 20% chance – don’t kill yourself here! Every 20 percent of his life points, an obsidian chip splinters off the boss and attacks you. Kill the shard, then deal with the Sentinel again. For each Chipped Obsidian, the boss’ damage dealt is reduced by 60.
Ancient Stone Keeper (5)
Leave the Echomok Cavern and go through the passage into the temple hall, where you will find the Ancient Stone Keeper. The rock golem doesn’t have much to oppose you. He only occasionally summons Harsh Winds, reducing your movement speed by 50 percent.
Galgann Firehammer (6)
Leave the room through the hallway in the northwest and go to Dig Three. Galgann Feuerhammer stands there with two companions. First eliminate the companions. Ranged fighters keep their distance from the boss to avoid being hit by his fire nova. He puts a magic spell on the tank that increases the fire damage received by 100 points. He also hits him with a flaming whip that deals fire damage and reduces fire resistance by 10 points for 20 seconds. With both debuffs, the tank takes a lot of fire damage. If you are able to remove the magical effects, you do so.
Grimlok (7) Now keep
left and enter the stone vault. There the troll Grimlok hides with his basilisk companion. Two troggs are also directly connected to him. Kill her and the basilisk first. The basilisk will randomly select a player and stun them with a crystalline slumber for 3 seconds. The Basilisk also has a five second ability that reflects harmful spells. The chief will attack you with chain lightning and lightning bolts. To prevent the chain lightning from jumping, the group spreads out in the room. However, be careful not to stand behind a pillar and thus out of reach of your healer.
