WoW Guide The Rank 8 Brawler’s Guild – Hexos, Dariusz Mask, T440 Dual Mode Robot and Anthracite

The Battle Guild offers World of Warcraft players additional employment and new solo challenges. A total of 20 new opponents were implemented in patch 5.3 and we’ll tell you how to master the difficult fights. This time it’s the turn of the rank 8 bosses: Hexos, Dariusz Mask, T440 Dual Mode Robot and Anthracite.

In our guide section for World of Warcraft you will find the necessary and tricks to be able to defeat all PvE bosses of the battle guild ranks one to seven. With Patch 5.3, the WoW developers are now delivering 20 new solo challenges for your heroes, some of which are much more difficult to master than the battles of the first ranks. It goes without saying that we once again plunged into the Fighting Guild for you to put the new gladiators of Fight Club to the test.

Before we get to the Rank 8 boss guides, a few general Brawler Guild tips. Die-hard healers and tanks unfortunately have to bite the bullet and switch to a damage specialization for the fighting guild, since many fights can only be fought successfully with high damage values. If you take too long, the berserker phase will bother you after a while, in which fireballs fall on the combat terrain, killing your fighter after a short time. At the same time, you can make many fights much easier for yourself with very high damage values, since critical phases last shorter and occur less frequently. So stock up on bottles, potions and buff food and look for fellow players in the fighting guild with whom you can form a so-called “buff group”. Also ask a nice warlock if he has a health stone ready for you, the additional health regeneration is worth its weight in gold in later fights. And finally one last tip: The current version ofDeadly Boss Mods also includes warnings for the Battle Guild. This makes the fights a little easier for you.

WoW: The Battle Guild Tier 8 – Hexos

  • ocular stasis
  • death plane

Anyone who has ever played one of the countless Hexagon offshoots in the browser will quickly feel at home in the fight against Hexos. The demonic observer ports you to the center of the arena at the start of combat, attaching itself to your face and sending a maze of “planes of death” your way. You cannot simply avoid them by running away, as you will be held in place by hexos – you can only change the direction of view. This is also badly needed, as you immediately die as soon as Hexos touches one of the “death planes”.

With the right mouse button pressed, you have to steer the observer through the gaps in the labyrinth while attacking your opponent at the same time. Since you are constantly setting your hero’s line of sight with the mouse, you can only trigger your abilities with keyboard shortcuts – the alternative control variant with keyboard turns and click inputs is not fast and targeted enough. It is therefore important that you really achieve all the spells and attacks relevant to your style of play with a keyboard shortcut – and that you master the keyboard inputs in your sleep. In battle, you concentrate primarily on the “death planes” coming your way. There is hardly any time to look for a specific attack or spell in the skill bar. In addition, you have to step on the gas so that you knock down the approximately 12,000,000 life points of Hexos within two minutes – about 100,000 damage per second are necessary for this on average. After the time has expired, the berserker phase known from the first ranks will finish you off.

Finally, a few tips that will make the fight against Hexos a little easier for you. Position your camera to look down on your hero from a great distance. So you have the best overview of the position of hexos and the approaching “death planes”. Also deactivates the life point display above your opponent by clicking on “V”, as it restricts the view. Since you are completely concentrating on the “death planes”, you hardly have an eye on the duration of important effects. Sound alerts from addons like WeakAurashelp you to keep your rotation flawless. Depending on the settings, your mouse may react too sluggishly. In this case, set the mouse sensitivity a little higher in the options. If you have talents that save your ass once, such as Cheat (Rogue) or Cauterize (Mage), then activate them. Otherwise, you align your talent and glyph choice for maximum damage output. Aside from the instantly lethal damage of “Planes of Death,” only Berserk mode puts your life at risk if you spend more than two minutes on Hexos.

WoW: The Battle Guild Rank 8 – Dariusz Mask

  • Electric PICK
  • Feathery detonation

The crossbreed of boxers Dariusz Michalczewski and Henry Maske that has come to life challenges you in the second fight of the eighth tier and is significantly easier to defeat than Hexos. The fact that you can’t expect a boxing match like Ty’thar is due to your opponent’s original English name: Tyson Sanders is a mixture of Colonel Sanders, the founder of the well-known fast food franchise Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Tyson, a huge foodstuff group, best known for its chicken products. So it’s not surprising that in the fight against Dariusz Maske you’ll have to deal with quite a bit of poultry.

Your actual opponent, Dariusz Maske, hardly gets involved in the fight himself, preferring to leave the dirty work to his chickens, which he distributes throughout the arena. The electric chickens spread damage patches on the ground, knocking you back and dealing a lot of damage. The explosive chickens are also dangerous, they flutter around wildly and after a few seconds burst into a “feathery detonation”. Finally, well-fed chickens join the fight, attaching themselves to your heels and dishing out melee damage that escalates the longer they live.

So your task is to avoid the sources of damage as much as possible and deal as much damage as possible to Dariusz Mask. In particular, you should avoid the proximity of the damage areas and exploding chickens in any case, if you get too close to the poultry, it is better to activate damage-reducing abilities that will ensure your survival. As a melee fighter, you sometimes have to bite the bullet and get away from your victim. But even if you only have access to ranged attacks at times, Dariusz Maske’s life points are low enough to shoot him across the Jordan before reaching the berserk phase.

WoW: The Battle Guild Rank 8 – T440 Dual Mode Robot

  • attack increase
  • precision artillery

Behind the complicated-sounding name “T440 dual-mode robot” is a battle machine that uses two attack modes in battle – depending on your position in relation to the boss. When you are within melee range of the robot, your mechanical opponent will fight in Attack Boost mode, inflicting melee strikes on your alter ego. Every 1.2 seconds, his attack speed increases by 5 and his damage by 15 percent, until he has finally built up the maximum 20 charges of the buff and deals more damage than your warrior can handle for a long time.

Again, if you move outside of the boss’s melee range, he’ll switch to Precision Artillery mode and target you with rockets. At the beginning, the spread is still quite high, you can easily dodge the projectiles. But even in this combat phase, a buff builds up that increases the magic speed and accuracy of the T440 with each charge.

So your task is to switch back and forth between the boss’s two combat modes so that your opponent attacks with his full force as little as possible. Starts the fight in melee range, igniting all damage-boosting options and giving him some serious damage. When the “Attack Boost” reaches around 15 charges, you give the robot a controlling or slowing effect and then immediately disappear from its melee range – without such a controlling spell, your opponent would just run after you. Also note that the T440 will damage you with a one-time area spell and stun you for a short time when it switches modes. Therefore, only force the change between the two modes in a targeted manner if you have enough life points, and protects you with abilities that mitigate area nova damage when needed. Melee fighters will now only linger in the distance for a short time, regenerate some health points if possible, and then immediately go back into melee combat. Long-range fighters, on the other hand, use the first poorly aimed missiles to continue dishing out damage without receiving any themselves. Only when the missiles hit your hero more often and in a more targeted manner is it time to switch to the front. So you cut down the slightly more than 11,000,000 life points before you end up in the dust of the arena yourself. WoW: The Battle Guild Rank 8 – Anthracite

  • fire
  • Scorching heat
  • fiery answer
  • spray
  • chilled
  • water in the tank

In the fourth and final challenge of Tier 8, you meet the hot temper of Anthracite, which you urgently need to cool down. The bad-tempered elemental is in “Burning”, dealing about 30,000 fire damage every second. As long as it’s on fire, it also punishes each of your attacks with a counterattack. In combination, the two effects melt your life bar to zero in a matter of seconds, which results in the first rule of the fight: Anthracite is taboo for your attacks and spells while it is burning. The fact that he also leaves a conflagration on the ground is only a matter of form. Rule 2: Avoid the fire on the ground!

In such a heated battle, a little refreshment certainly wouldn’t hurt. It’s good that you start the fight with the “Spray” ability, which you trigger via a special button. With “spray” you extinguish the fire of anthracite, increase the damage taken by your victim by 50 percent and also stun the elemental for 20 seconds. But watch out: you always spray in the direction your back is pointing. So you must turn your back on the boss before activating “Spray”. It’s best to greet Anthracite right at the beginning of the fight with the extinguishing action, so that you can step on the gas for the first 20 seconds of the fight without taking damage at the same time.

Since you only have one charge of Spray, you’ll need to resupply. You do that with the smaller water elementals “Ionized Water”. As soon as you kill one of the elementals, you walk over the remaining surface of water to fill the canister with new liquid. Make sure that you only attack the elementals that are up to mischief away from the burning ground areas. If an “ionized water” walks into the conflagration, the watery fellow evaporates immediately and the damage you have dealt to the elemental and the seconds you have invested are wasted.

So the fight alternates between two phases: cool Anthracite and deal as much damage as possible to the boss and do Ionized Water to get a new “Spray” charge. The second phase is the dangerous one because the fire damage that hits you is very high. Use all of your hero’s defensive capabilities here and every bit of self-healing you can squeeze out of your abilities. If your survivability is not sufficient in this phase, then you can make the fight a little easier with a little trick – which, however, lengthens the overall duration of the battle: only deals about twelve seconds of damage to Anthracite after you have stunned him, and changes early to an “Ionized Water” to the next “Spray”
