In the WoW fighting guild, which has been on the servers since WoW patch 5.1, the level of difficulty increases significantly from rank 6 onwards. Mistakes are immediately penalized. Today we describe the fights against the bosses Yikkan Izu, Akama, Drauhau Hufstamp and Unguloxx. Except for the good Draufhau, many challenges await you. Our WoW Guide to Battle Guild 5 will help.
In today’s WoW guide to the fighting guild, we are dedicated to the bosses at rank 5. As in previous guides, we describe encounters with the bosses and reveal their abilities. A list of all the guides that have already been published can be found below this message.
The grace period is now finally over. From rank 6 at the latest, the bosses hardly allow any missteps and you need a lot of damage to survive against them. Right from the start, players with poor gear have nothing to smile about against Yikkan Izu and his fellow ravens. Akama and his ghost wolves will also give you a good beating. Draufhau Hufstamp seems a bit out of place in this round though. The “killer ape” Unguloxx lives up to its title and deals murderous damage.
WoW: The Battle Guild Tier 6 – Yikkan Izu
- Fallen Brothers
- Disoriented screeching
Yikkan Izu is accompanied by four fellow ravens. Since these will also attack you, you should eliminate them quickly to reduce the incoming damage. Every few seconds, the raven prince summons four ravens again, each of which has to be killed quickly. However, for each raven killed, Yikkan gains a stack of the Fallen Brothers buff. If the stack reaches five counts, he’ll throw a tantrum and will almost certainly send you to the mat. So you can never kill five ravens at the same time, which is why it is necessary that all four ravens are always killed with each wave. Classes that have strong area effects should be able to do that easily. If there are too many ravens, you can kite Yikkan until his tantrum ends. The Feathered Terror also has the Disoriented Screech ability, which as the name suggests leaves you disoriented and vulnerable to bird attacks. However, he uses them very rarely and is also interruptible.
WoW: The Battle Guild Tier 6 – Akama
- Thunderstorm ( 15 meters )
- Chain Lightning (Requires a Chain Lightning with 3s cast time – and 30m range)
- Shadow Slash (1.5 sec cast, 10 sec cooldown)
- wild spirit
Many of you may remember Akama from the Black Temple, where he helped Shadowsong defeat Illidan alongside Maiev. In order to survive against Akama, you not only have to deal out a lot of damage, but also avoid any unnecessary damage. You should therefore interrupt his “chain lightning” immediately. He also summons two ghost wolves to help with Wild Spirit. Eliminate them with area effects if possible. Your main goal should always remain Akama. He also knows two other spells, but they play a minor role. Thunderstorm knocks you back, inflicting Nature damage. The spell is interruptible. With the Shadow Slash buff, his weapons deal additional Shadow damage. If the damage from “Shadow Slash” becomes too great, it helps to stun or distance Akama. Don’t use your damage buffs right away, but wait at least until the first or second Ghost Wolf spawn. If Akama only has ten to 20 percent of his hit points, I can ignore the wolves completely and focus the damage on Akama alone. In this case, save your defensive skills for the final phase.
WoW: The Battle Guild Rank 6 – Bash Hufstamp
- hoof pounder
The fight against the Tauren Draufhau Hufstamp is so simple that it almost seems a bit out of place in the round of rank 6 fighters. His “hoof stomp” causes a lot of damage and throws you back. You won’t die from it though, and you can also evade the attack by simply moving away from him the next time he’s potentially going to use it. However, you have to do this by feel, since the “hoof pounder” has no effect time. Draufhau will regularly hole up behind a glowing blue shield barricade. Just run around him and keep attacking him from behind. If your life bar drops too low, you can also use the phase to heal yourself.
The tauren warrior comes with two goblins sitting on his shoulders. If you kill them, Brawler will take more damage and be even easier to defeat. So get rid of them relatively quickly after the fight begins. Damage buffs are best left off either right at the start for the goblins or during a cover phase.
WoW: The Battle Guild Rank 6 – Unguloxx, the killer monkey
Unguloxx, the killer monkey has no special attacks. However, their melee attacks pack a punch. A few well-aimed hoof kicks and you’re in the dust. Your defensive abilities and stun effects play the main role in this encounter. Use them in a targeted manner and coordinate the cooldowns. Don’t forget that control abilities become less effective the more you use them. Therefore kite the “killer monkey” more often in the room until the corresponding effect has the full effect again. Most of the time, the ability is fully usable again after 15 to 20 seconds. The more damage you do, the faster the fight will be over and the easier it will be. For some classes it can also make sense to switch to a tank skill. In that case you have to find out for yourself
