In Ahn’kahet, only a handful of enemies await you, and they won’t let you have their loot without a fight.

The way through the instance
In the first part of the Old Kingdom, you’ll mainly have to deal with spiders. Most of them spit poison at you or hold you down with cobwebs for a short time. A bit more dangerous are the magic casters that attack you with their shadow blasts. If you are having a lot of trouble healing away the damage from this spell, there are several ways to prevent the shadow strike:
* A priest binds the caster.
* A Paladin casts “Atonement” on the caster
* Classes that can interrupt spells prevent the caster from casting Shadow Strike.
Go straight down the path until you come to a fork in the road. It doesn’t matter which path you take here, because both lead to the room of the first boss: Elder Nadox.
After Nadox dies, head down the stairs on the right to Bone Slayer, Frostbringer and Eyes of Taldaram. Frostbringer and Guardians primarily attack with spells; Bone Slayer likes to send you into nearby groups of enemies with a fear effect. To your right, two spider web ramps lead to two platforms. Clear the platforms of enemies and activate the two contraptions. Exit the area again via the spider webs and go to the stairs you see in front of you on the right. At the top, Prince Taldaram is already waiting for you.
Your path will now take you through an opening in the wall, through a long tunnel that will lead you to the next section of the instance.
Tip: Before you take on the followers of the Cult of the Damned there, you can make a detour to the left to the Cave Beasts to get the quest item “Mud-Covered Mushroom” and at the same time complete the resulting quest “Mad Mushrooms”.
For the Cult of the Damned, you should work with as many enemy control abilities as possible, as they also deal a lot of damage to the party. The elementals of some cultists should not be underestimated. If there is a wizard in your party, first banish the fire elemental. Once the way to the next staircase is clear, you will now meet the leader Jedoga Shadow Quest . The battle, by the way, begins after you have eliminated the enemies on the battlefield with area damage.
Finish off a few more groups of enemies and then follow the large spider web ramp that leads to the final boss. The Faceless Ones are the guardians of the boss, Herald Volazj, and they throw shadow lances at random players. However, these can and should be dodged in time. After that, nothing stands in the way of the fight against Herald Volazj.
