WoW Guide: Stormstout Brewery

Stormstout Brewery is one of the WoW instances from Mists of Pandaria. In this dungeon, you’ll help Chen Stormstout clean up the family brewery. It is occupied by Hozen and Shed-Ling – and bad-tempered beer elementals await you. Find out how to defeat the bosses in our instance guide.

The WoW instance Stormstorm Brewery is one of the first instances you can visit in Mists of Pandaria. The dungeon in the Valley of the Four Winds is accessible from level 85 and can be played on Normal and Heroic difficulty. In the Heroic version, however, only the health points of the enemies increase – the abilities also cause more damage. However, the tactics for the boss fights are identical.

The instance starts with a small event. You have to create a bad mood at the Hozen party by killing 40 Hozen. A small progress bar shows how you are doing as the party policeman. As the event progresses, the Hozen will eventually roll beer barrels towards you. You should dodge these to avoid additional damage. You can also right-click on a keg to swing and roll it into the enemies. There, the barrel will explode and make your life a little easier. This also becomes important in the fight against Ouk-Ouk. The fight against the boss Motz begins once you have defeated 40 Hozen.

Stormstout Brewery: Ouk-Ouk
The Hozen boss doesn’t pose much of a challenge to your party and is easy to defeat with a little discipline. On the one hand, it’s important that the tank distracts the boss from the rest of the group. Ouk-Ouk deals damage in a cone-shaped area in front of him with his “ground hammering” – of course, only the tank should collect it.

Critical points in the battle occur when Ouk-Ouk’s health reaches 90, 60 and 30 percent. Then the boss strengthens himself with the “Freak out” buff, which makes him hit faster and harder. Tank and healer must be able to handle it. In addition, beer barrels roll through the room. You should dodge these, of course – and ideally take advantage of them. If you steer such a keg into the boss, Uuk-Uuk will take damage – and also get a debuff that briefly increases the damage he takes. So one or two players from the group should take care of adding barrels to Ouk-Ouk. To make it as easy as possible to reach the boss, Ouk-Ouk should be kept in the middle of the room.
