The Paladin – Sacred All-Purpose Weapon in the Service of Horde and Alliance
Before we dive into the tactics and tricks essential for raiding disciples, let’s give a beginner a quick overview of the Paladin class and the unique mechanics that make up the holy warrior.

Holy Power
Since Patch 4.0.1, Holy Power has been added to your Paladin’s playstyle. With the help of a few attacks and spells, you build up to three charges of the new resource, and then convert them into harmful attacks, instant healing, or an increase in your Holy damage.

Auras and Boons
Auras are permanent buffs unique to the paladin that can be nimbly adjusted to suit the situation. If party or raid members are within 40 yards, they also benefit from the aura.

Blessings, on the other hand, are buffs that last for 60 minutes. Speak this on you and your party members to benefit from the effect.

Seals and Judgment
Seals complement the Paladin’s buff portfolio. The special thing about the seals: Each seal has two effects. The first works as long as the seal is active on the paladin – the duration of the seals is 30 minutes. If you now judge your opponent with a judgment, the second effect will be triggered in addition to the effect of the judgment.

Hand Spells
Paladins find another support mechanic in their hand spells, which only last for a very short time. They must therefore be spoken at the right moment, depending on the situation, so that they can have their full effect.
