WoW Guide: Naxxramas – The Plague District

Naxxramas – The Plague District

The flying instance of Naxxramas can be found in the Dragonblossom. There it hovers next to the keep of the Alliance Winterguard and the base of the Horde Gallgrimm. You can access the instance only after you reach level 80, and you need a flying mount to do so. You can find the entrance and the instance stone at the foot of the necropolis. To successfully contest the wing and defeat all three bosses, you will need good equipment, which you can collect in heroic instances.

Don’t miss WoW Show 6, which you can find on buffed.co.uk starting Sunday, November 30. We will visit the Plague District for you and show you the bosses.

Before you advance to the wing’s boss, Noth the Plaguebringer, you’ll have to fight through a few standard enemies.

* The ghouls inflict a plague and bleed effect on tanks. Their melee damage is nothing to scoff at either, so take good care of your warriors.

* The Plague Ooze Slimes hit hard, but are very slow to move. So move them around without being able to reach anyone in melee.

* Later you will meet stone skinned gargoyles. Alone they are not too dangerous. They will bombard the party with a volley of acid. This damage-on-time spell stacks infinitely and deals about 250 points of natural damage per stack to you every 3 seconds for 24 seconds. At 30% of their hit points, they slowly turn into a statue. You have seven seconds to kill them for good, or they will fully heal and continue their deadly volleys. Especially the groups of two on the stairs to Noth pose a great danger. Here you must not be stingy with damage, otherwise the poison weakening spell will kill you.

After Noth is defeated, it goes through a mushroom forest to the final opponent Heigan the Unclean.

* In the forest you will have to deal with raging bats, which you fight with area damage.

* The mutated larvae pose no threat, but always appear in pairs.

* There are still plague beasts in the way, which quickly perish.

More slimy crawlers await you on the way to the third boss Loatheb.

* In one room you will find a lot of maggots. Here you can’t lose any time, because the enemies reappear very quickly. A tank collects a bunch of maggots, while the damage dealers work mainly with area damage.

* The eye drinkers slow your movements with mind flashes, have low hit points. Fight your way along the wall until you face Loatheb.

In the sixth episode of the WoW Show Björn and Annette show you the Plague Quarter of Naxxramas:
