WoW Guide: Naxxramas – The Construct District

The Construct Quarter is a bit more difficult to master than the Arachnid and Plague Quarters, and there are four bosses waiting for you here. If your healers are very well equipped, two healing heroes will be enough. If you want to play it safe, you should go to the Construct Quarter with the following party composition:

* Two tanks: for Patchwork, take tanks with high armor values, otherwise take the tanks of your choice. Paladins or Death Knights can be beneficial for Gluth.

* Three healers: Many heal-over-time spells help especially in the fight against Gluth, but you are not limited in your choice of healers either.

* Five damage dealers: Mages and hunters help you control the zombies in Gluth. Otherwise, you can take any well-equipped hero to the Construct District.

Before you meet the first boss of the construction district, you’ll have to kill some standard enemies.

* On the way to the patchwork, you’ll encounter all sorts of monstrosities that your tanks will immediately take care of.

* The patched golems stun players in a 15 meter radius with about 3,750 points of damage. They also have a cleave attack. Melee damage dealers should make sure to stand behind enemies.

* The mudskippers on the way to the second room spit poison on the tank. The same goes for the bile shrikes, which produce annoying bile sludge. From time to time, the second boss Grobbulus appears on the balcony and sends some of his slimes at you.

* In the circular room to your left, you should stay away from the enveloping slimes – they exude a deadly aura. Fight the creatures with ranged damage.

* In the large hall beyond, you will encounter groups of living abominations and small leper dwarves. Fight the small gnomes with area damage while the melee fighters take care of the monstrosities. Pay special attention to the Totem of Lightning and the Chain Lightning.

After killing Patchwerk, head north through the passageway.

* You can tell if you’re right by the three small rows of blobs that crawl across the path. You can only destroy them if you touch them. But unless you’re immune to damage with abilities like Divine Shield, you’ll die too. So worm your way through the blobs.

* After the blobs, you’ll find a hall full of Scar Spitters. Their melee damage isn’t nearly as high as Patchwerk’s, but they kick the tank across the room.

To get to Gluth in the Grobbulus, you’ll have to walk up the ramp onto the balcony. To your right is a pipe that will take you to the next boss. Be careful not to fall through the hole at the left end of the narrow tunnel.

Thaddius is in the room behind Gluth.

* Watch out for scarred colossi and their powerful stomping attacks as you cross the passage there.

* Ghostly predatory creatures cross your path in groups, but are easily defeated with area attacks.
