In the Frostwing Halls of Icecrown Citadel, only two bosses are waiting for you before you take on the Lich King in an epic battle. Our guide will help you with this.
In the Frostwing Halls of Icecrown Citadel, only two bosses await before you take on the Lich King in an epic battle. First up is Valithria Dreamwalker, a green dragon lady captured by the Scourge. However, the experiments performed on her have not completely corrupted her, so she is not attacking the raid. Take three healers with you in the group, as well as two tanks. The remaining spots go to the damage dealers.
Valithria starts the fight with 50 percent of her hit points – to successfully complete the boss encounter, you must heal the dragon completely. Easier said than done, though, as Arthas has other plans and is sending his minions after you. Thus, the tasks are clearly distributed: Your tanks grab all enemies that appear, which are immediately destroyed by your damage dealers. These emerge from the front two niches on the left and right side of the chamber. The healers feed the raid and otherwise heal the green dragon every free second. Occasionally, three portals will appear, each of which a player can enter. If you use this option, you will be in the Emerald Dream for 15 seconds, through which you can hover with the jump button. Inside are green dream clouds that you can collect. This grants you a stacking buff that increases your healing and damage, and also restores your mana. At least two healers with the best direct healing spells make their way through the portals to grab the buff and use the increased healing on Valithria to help the fight through. If you defeat the opponents quickly, so that almost no healing is required for the group, the third healer can also touch the clouds. If this is not the case, a damage dealer enters through the third portal. As the fight progresses, the enemy waves appear more and more swiftly, so it is necessary to heal the dragon lady quickly. This grants you a stacking buff that increases your healing and damage, and also restores your mana. Although the outcome of the battle depends primarily on your healers, your damage dealers must still do their best and defeat the most dangerous enemies first. The flaming skeletons deal damage all over the room with their damage aura and are therefore number one on your list. The low-hit suppressors do no damage to you, but their channeling effect reduces the healing received from Valithria Dreamwalker – so kill them after the skeletons. The zombies eat away at the tanks’ armor and give them a damage-over-time debuff. Just before they die, they explode, so melee fighters should flee as quickly as possible. Finally, take care of the archmage and the monstrosities. The mages summon a “manalevoid” under any player. If you stand in it, it drains mana from you – so movement is a top priority. The Frost Pillar works similarly – after two seconds, an ice shoot shoots out of the ground, damaging you and launching you into the air. The abominations, on the other hand, have a “stomach acid” breath that increases the damage they take. Tanks should therefore turn the undead with their backs to the rest of the raid members. You can remove the debuff “Stomach Acid” as it is a disease. When a monstrosity dies, a few small redworms will appear from its carcass, which you can best fight with area damage. Be careful not to take any melee hits, as the Decaying Flesh debuff stacks up quickly.
Skills:
Summon Nightmare Portal: There are Dreamclouds in the portals to the Emerald Tram. If you collect the clouds, you will receive a stacking buff that restores 200 mana points every three seconds for 35 seconds. It also increases damage done and healing done by 10%.

Mana Empty (Resurrected Archmage): Summons a mana empty under a player, which drains 800 mana every second from all players within 6 yards.

Valithria Dreamwalker Hardmode/Heroic (10 players)
Hardly anything changes in the heroic variant. Both the portals and the clouds in the dream world now have a red color. From these clouds, you now receive the debuff Terrible Nightmares, which gives you the same benefits as in normal mode, but deals 200 points of Nature damage per charge every second. However, since your healing is also increased, you should have no trouble keeping yourself alive. Druids and Priests set themselves HoT’s, Shamans can use Riptide or the Glyph of the Healing Wave. Paladins heal themselves in Dreamworld with Holy Shock, place the Beacon of Faith on Valithria in space, and then heal themselves or tanks.
Dreamwalker slowly loses their hit points through heroic mode, but that’s not a big problem for you. So don’t be discouraged if her hit points increase slowly at first. Only after about three to four portal phases will you have enough stacks of Terrible Nightmares to get their hit points up with Heroism/Fury and any healing-enhancing abilities. Just make sure that the two healers who enter the dream world don’t run out of charge. So decide who collects the clouds at which point in the dream and enter the portals in time.
For damage dealers and tanks, not much changes. Kill the flame skeletons first, followed by the suppressors. Then it’s the turn of the Archmages. Be sure to interrupt their “Frostbolt Salvo,” which also drains you of hit and mana points. Then you’ll eliminate monstrosities and zombies. Beware of the combination of abomination and zombie, as they do significant damage to a single tank. For example, zombies can be kited so that the tank’s armor-reducing debuff expires.
