Ulduar, one of the sanctuaries of the ancient Titans, is located in the northern part of the Storm Peaks. In addition to a raid instance and the Halls of Lightning, to the west is the entrance to the Halls of Stone.

There, the Rune Dwarves and their giant protectors await your party. Hordeers land at the crash site of Grom’Arsh and ride north, the Alliance sets up camp at Bran’s base camp. Only Bran Bronzebeard gives you a quest; you can find him in the instance.

Standard opponents and instance flow:

After entering the halls, you will face the first enemies.

* The rune dwarves usually appear in groups of three. Be especially wary of the dark rune dwarves. They occasionally attack the group with forked lightning bolts. Interrupt your spells and kill them first. After that, it’s the elementalists’ turn. They occasionally summon an air elemental and attack with lightning. The warriors have the usual cleave attack, but don’t pose much of a threat.

* The relentless constructs often stand around in pairs. Occasionally they charge around, but that doesn’t bother you. After a good beating, they suffer a short circuit that causes significant natural damage within a ten-meter radius after three seconds. When this happens, just run away from the construct or kill it before the short circuit is triggered.

In the next room, the usual Runic Dwarves and Dark Runic Giants patrol. Be sure to engage only one group in combat at a time.

* The giants have no special abilities, but deal a lot of melee damage to the tank. Once you have eliminated the enemies, choose the only available exit in the right wing of the hall. After a few meters and a few dead rune dwarves, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Three possible paths will lead you into the twisting sections of the instance. First, choose the left fork, which will take you to a quarry of sorts.

Before you take on the wing boss, you’ll have to fight your way through some attackers again.

* The rune scholars like to counter your spells.

* The workers and rune shapers don’t pose much of a threat.

* Occasionally you will still encounter groups of stonelings. They have a low number of hit points and you can fight them with area damage. However, beware of the Rune Wardens, who will occasionally take control of one of your fellow warriors. At the end of the path you will meet the giant Krystallus.

After Krystallus dies, go through the hole in front of you back to the fork in the path. Now choose the right path to encounter more Rune Theurgs. Further on you will encounter the familiar giants and some constructs. In the back hall, the Maid of Sorrow, the second boss, awaits you.

Back at the fork in the road, take the last remaining path. Besides some familiar enemies, after a while you’ll encounter some rampaging constructs with no special abilities. Also, find Brann Bronzebeard and accompany him to the Tribunal of the Ages.

After helping Brann, you can order him to the circular room where you first eliminated the standard enemies. There he’ll open a door for you that will lead to the final boss, Sjonnir.

What is WoW Classic?

World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

1. Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
2. Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
3. Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
4. Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
