Alchemy is one of the crafting professions in World of Warcraft. Alchemists brew potions, vials and elixirs for any occasion and provide useful extra buffs for more damage, more healing or more health, especially for WoW heroes who like to spend time in raid instances. By the way, alchemy and alchemy are both valid spellings for the profession in World of Warcraft.
Alchemy: This is why the profession is worthwhile
In addition to all sorts of potions, elixirs and vials for every occasion, alchemists can also create a life-bound alchemist stone. It not only increases the stamina and mastery value by all sorts of points, but also grants alchemists a bonus on healing and mana potions (alternatives to the stamina stone: Living Alchemist Stone, Shining Alchemist Stone, Volatile Alchemist Stone). You can also earn gold with transmutations: Engineers and Master Blacksmiths are keen on real gold, while Jewel Cutters are keen on the many rare jewels and the Wisp Diamond Metastone. And since almost every raid fanatic wants to get the most out of their armor, gems are in high demand. A very special treat awaits you if you are also an archaeologist: You have a chance to find the recipe for the Vial of Sand. The extravagant mount is especially popular with mount collectors and can bring a lot of money into your coffers.
Worthwhile sideline: Herbalism

Herbalism not only provides you with the necessary ingredients, but also with a healing spell that can not only save your butt in dicey situations, but also grants you a speed bonus of 480 points at the highest level. Especially magic classes are happy about this ability, which regularly grants a bonus to the casting speed of spells like a piece of jewelry.
Specializations and other extras
As an alchemist, you can choose a specialization from a skill level of 325. You have the choice between potions, elixirs and transmutations. Once you have made your choice and completed the associated quest line, you can obtain up to four additional units of this item when crafting an item of your specialization category. An example: You are a potion specialist and provide a mythical mana potion 
 here. There is now a chance that you will craft the item twice, using the same amount of ingredients. The proc chance of this effect has not been confirmed by the developers, but is widely believed to be 15 percent chance. This randomly crafted item now has an additional 15 percent chance of spawning twice as well. This continues until the fifth possibly crafted item. That’s a lot of math, the only important thing for you is: Thanks to specialization, you can now and then get up to five items from the materials for one item.
Alchemy: as efficiently as possible to 525
In the following you will find a recipe list with which you can bring alchemy to a skill level of 525 as efficiently and cheaply as possible. But it is a recipe sequence that will bring you the most in theory. It can also happen that crafting a yellow recipe sometimes does not give you any skill points. Therefore, note that the minimum number of materials requiredis indicated and you might need more ingredients, especially for green or yellow recipes. Conversely, other recipes can turn out to be more profitable for you if you can produce a recipe cheaper through farm luck, generous friends or other circumstances. Therefore, always check whether the templates mentioned here are always the most worthwhile for you.

What is WoW Classic?
World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.
Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
