WoW: Blizzard: Your feedback has been heard!

For months, rogue players have been compiling suggestions for improvements on WoW’s official forums to make the talent trees from better. Only now there was feedback from Blizzard: You have been heard!

When the first version of the rogue talent trees on the alpha servers of WoW: Dragonflight. the mood within the assassin community was still quite good according to our impression. Compared to the trees of other classes, the foundation already seemed comparatively well thought out. Especially for Outlaw and Assassin various exciting builds could be found.

Nevertheless, there’s still room for improvement, as the more than 150 posts in this forum thread nicely show. Many skills and talents still suffer from bugs, and the build of the trees could be further optimized, the occasional bad apples could be sorted out (or at least make sure that you don’t have to kill them), and the existing placeholders could be replaced by final talents.

Blizzard promises fine tuning

While a lot has been done with other classes over the past weeks and months, the rogue for the alpha and beta could be counted on one hand. At the latest when the PTR went online with the well-documented problems, many players became restless: Will the rogue end up on the live servers like this?

Only now, months after the creation of the feedback thread linked above, a Blizzard developer, Zlaer, spoke up. His message to the rogue community: The developers have read all the suggestions for improvement, but someone responsible could have spoken up in the forum earlier.

As a peace offering, there was a preview of the new deception talent Danse Macabre, which will soon replace the placeholder talent Shadow Mist.

  • Dansce Macabre: Shadow Dance increases the damage of your attacks that build or consume combo points by ten percent, and by another ten percent whenever you use different abilities. Once you use an ability repeatedly, the bonus resets.

There are also other things planned to happen soon on the beta servers and on the PTR. Many of the planned changes are related to the construction sites that have been thematized by the players. The developers plan to publish detailed information about this shortly.
