WoW: Dragonflight and Rings of Power

In the first part of the 599th episode of buffedCast, Karsten explains to us why the Blizzard developers once again didn’t cut a good figure in terms of communication with the announcement of the WotLK Classic release. After that, Karsten and Phil talk about various adjustments that come with the re-release, the simplicity of Naxxramas and the position of the Death Knight as a ridiculously strong class – even in the toned down version for Classic. And why has the population of a Classic server more than halved in a few weeks?

In the second part, everything then revolves around the alpha of WoW: Dragonflight and the Forbidden Isle that can be tested there – the starting area of the Dracthyr shouters. Also the fact that male and female become body 1 and body 2 in Dragonflight is discussed. Together with the adjustment to the pronoun, this results in an image that goes against the grain for some people – which neither Karsten nor Phil can really understand.

At the end, the two actually wanted to talk briefly about The Rings of Power, the new series from the Lord of the Rings universe. Because even here was hotly debated in advance, due to the diversity of the cast and possibly low production standard, which some viewers wanted to have recognized in the first trailers. However, the two digress relatively quickly and wander from Rings of Power to Hobbit and Lord of the Rings to Picard, Stargate and Hör mal wer da hämmert.
