WoW Classic Today is the last day to fish for winter squid

Everyone who relies on agility buff food in has hopefully caught enough winter squid. Starting tomorrow (March 21, 2020), they will disappear from the waters of Azeroth and will not reappear until September 21.

– Season s do play a role in WoW Classic, for example, when it comes to fishing. For example, from September 21 to March 21, only winter – Season fish are active. One of the most popular species is the winter squid. It is especially valuable because it is the only one with which you can create the +skill buff Food.

Grilled squid grants you 10 points of dexterity for 10 minutes. As mentioned above, it cannot be found in the waters on the morning of March 21. Those in need of the agility buff food should stock up now (before the auction house prices go up) or go the fishing route. The best chances for squid are on the coast of Azshara.

Check out the wowhead map to see where winter squid can be found in Azhsara. Winter squid can also be caught in Tanaris, Feralas, the Hinterlands, and Stranglethorn Valley. However, Azshara offers the best opportunities. Alliance players on PvP servers may have to deal with the Horde a bit more.

According to the comments on Wowhead, the chance of catching a winter squid when casting your line is about 16 percent. Not only does the time of year play a role in catching this fish, but also the time of day. Players between the ages of 12 and 18 seem to have the best results. By the way, between 00:00 and 06:00 the squid are not to be found in Azshara. Do not forget to pack items like Bright Trinkets. Because to cast the route in Azshara, you need a fishing skill of at least 330.
