WoW Classic TBC: What are the best servers to start with?

If you look at the servers these days, you will see that the starting areas are filling up again with the announcement of The Burning Crusade Classic. Here we tell you which servers are particularly recommended for the launch of the expansion.

When The Burning Crusade Classic is rumored to go live after a technical beta sometime in May this year, layering on heavily populated realms is sure to be an issue again. Experience has shown that many players initially prefer to accept login queues rather than waiting a long time later for dungeon and raid groups or auction house sales. So you can assume that currently full servers will be full to the brim and many servers with a high population will be full. We have listed the population of the realms in March 2021 for you here .

On PvP and PvP-RP realms, the faction balance is also of particular importance, because here you can’t simply check out via the war mode switch like in “Retail”-WoW if the other side is in the majority again. You can find out below which servers are particularly recommended for the start in TBC Classic from the points of view mentioned. Incidentally, it doesn’t matter whether you start with level 1 in one of the new starting areas or use the level 58 boost for the start on Outland.

WoW Classic/TBC PvE and PvE RP realms
In general, it can be said that the PvE and PvE RP realms are in the minority and the selection is correspondingly small. In addition, according to Ironforge.pro statistics , the alliance is clearly in the majority here, no matter which server you take. The following stats are based solely on the WarcraftLogs active raider population excluding non-raiders and non-logged in.

Razorfen (PvE)

English
Nethergarde Keep (PvE)

What is WoW Classic?

World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.

Getting Started

All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.

  1. Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
  2. Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
  3. Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
  4. Click the Play button when the installation is complete.

You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
