WoW Classic How PvP works in Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands

With patch 1.13.6, new PvP content has been added to the live servers. Specifically, you will find new tasks in the Eastern Plaguelands and in Silithus, which will allow you to earn region-wide buffs. We have summarized all the details in this special.

On December 2nd, the final update 1.13.6 will land on the WoW Classic live servers, and of course most players will focus their attention on the bosses of the raid instance Naxxramas and the Scourge that will start at the same time. But the patch also includes new content for PvP fans. The patch notes read as follows:

If you have reached the Honorable reputation level in your Warsong Gulch faction, you can now purchase Epic Leg Armor.
PvP objectives are now available in Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands.
Since the latter point is not really meaningful, we will tell you in this special what is behind the new PvP goals in Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands.

WoW Classic: New PvP targets in the Eastern Plaguelands
The new PvP objectives in the Eastern Plaguelands focus on the battle for the four towers that have formed a square in the zone for many months. You can conquer the towers by activating PvP (type /pvp in the chat) and standing with other players near a tower.

Once your faction has the upper hand in the area, move the progress bar towards the blue (Alliance) or red (Horde) area. Once the slider reaches your color range, you will capture the tower, earn 189 honor points, and unlock a bonus specific to each tower.

The East Wall Tower in the east spawns Veterans of Lordaeron to help you fight the enemy at the North Pass Tower.

The North Pass Tower in the north grants you a buff via an altar outside the tower entrance that gives you five percent more health for 30 minutes (Eastern Plaguelands, Stratholme, and Scholomance only).

The Plague Forest tower in the west has a ghostly flight master that you can use to quickly fly to one of the other towers in the zone on a ghostly raven.

The Crown Guard Tower in the south provides you with a new spawn point just north of the tower where you can resurrect yourself if you have died.

In addition, capturing towers gives you the stackable buff “Echoes of Lordaeron”, which only works in the Eastern Plaguelands and Stratholme (unfortunately not in Naxxramas):

1 tower = melee, ranged, and spell damage against undead increased by 1 percent.
2 Towers = Melee, ranged, and spell damage against undead increased by 2 percent.
3 Towers = Melee, ranged, and spell damage against undead increased by 3 percent.
4 Towers = Melee, ranged, and spell damage against undead increased by 5 percent.

WoW Classic: New PvP Targets in Silithus
In the dusty beetle home of Silithus, the new PvP objectives are all about collecting silithyst from geysers jutting out of the ground everywhere. Bringing this crystal dust to your faction’s base here will not only earn you 10 Cenarion Circle reputation and 199 honor points, but also a useful buff that increases melee and spell damage by five percent for 30 minutes.
