If you play WoW Classic with foresight thanks to the current knowledge, you can save a lot of gold or even earn a golden nose in the auction house. For example, you should already bunker the materials in the bank that you’ll have to use to pay for your Tier 3 set pieces in Phase 6. As soon as Naxxramas is over, the prices for arcanite staffs, mooncloth and the other goods will increase significantly.
Although Phase 4 of WoW Classic has only just begun, it’s already worth looking to the future and preparing early for the challenges ahead. If you are well prepared, you will save a lot of gold, because it is already known which items will be in high demand in phases 5 and 6. Or you farm these goods specifically to meet the prevailing demand and make a fortune.
The opening of the final raid instance, Naxxramas, can be expensive for any Azeroth hero. Not only because the upcoming raid evenings will “eat” significantly more repair costs and consumables than previous visits to the Core and Blackwing Lair. Those without an exalted reputation at Argent Dawn will have to pay to enter Naxxramas. And building the 9-piece (!) Tier 3 sets quickly turns to gold. We’ll tell you why that is below.
WoW Classics: Expensive Tier 3 Sets
To equip the best set items of the Classic era, you need more than just the class coins and special materials like the Wartorn Leather Scraps dropped by enemies in Naxxramas. Other items, some of them very expensive, are needed for construction, and they differ depending on the class. The good news is that you can already obtain the latter items.

What is WoW Classic?
World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.
Getting Started
All players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time on their accounts have access toWoW Classic at no additional cost.
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and select World of Warcraft from the menu.
- Select World of Warcraft Classic from the Version menu. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second Account drop-down list. In this column, select the active account you want to play with.
- Click the Install button. The progress bar will tell you when your game is ready to play.
- Click the Play button when the installation is complete.
You will need to select the realm you want to play on from several different realm types. Make sure you choose the same realm as your friends – in World of Warcraft Classic, you can only group with characters that are on the same realm as you!
